4 days and Maya is still in that coma, Kermit woke up, which was very painful for Shawn to see him alive. Lucas was still in California, waiting for Maya to wake up, Monday morning, he calls school to say he wouldn't be there today, and he stays in her hospital room all day, waiting for a sign.
Kermit came back with two coffees and sat next to Lucas and gave one to him, Lucas quickly thanked him and drank a sip of it. "So.. are you Maya's boyfriend ?" Kermit asked. "No I'm not, I wish thought, she's a wonderful girl, you have no idea..." he said looking at his feet. "Look Maya is gonna make it out, after all she did it's not a small coma that's gonna change it all... this woman, Barbara, knows Maya very well, she's the one who gave birth to her... ah... it was a wonderful moment, my daughter was born and my loving wife was there, smiling at the both of us... I don't know what happened to me" he signed heavily. "Maya knows you as the abusive guy you know ?" "I know... I started hitting Katy when Maya was 3.. I lost my father, when I learned it, Maya was just learning to draw snails, and Katy was trying to comfort me, but I drank too much and started to hit her, I never wanted that... in my whole life I would never want anyone to hurt Katy Hart, but I became a monster, and I left two years after, when Maya was drawing trees with apples and everything that was with it; I left because I couldn't stop, it was either that or hurting my little family again, I chose to leave" Kermit said wiping his tears off. "At least you tried to make contact with him, I mean, I would love that my father comes back into my life and play it nice" Lucas said drinking his coffee. "Why? What's up with your father ?" Kermit asked, Lucas sighted. "I have a big brother, who's really cool and who has a great life and all, when I was born, my father was just avoiding me like I wasn't his son, and I didn't like it so I needed more attention, I started smoking in front of him but he would just laugh and say hay I was a weak gay, I have nothing against gay people, they can do whatever, but my father is homophobic and so the fact that he was considering me gay was horrible... so I started to hook up with girls so he would I don't know, be proud I guess, but it doesn't work, and I don't like being a fuckboy, but I was trying to convince myself that I was a real one, until Maya came into my life and hit me like a truck, I'm not like that, and I have feelings too, and the girls also have feelings... that's why I keep on thinking about Maya" Lucas said, the monitor started beeping as lines were being drawn on the screen, Kermit called a nurse, and Mary came in. "She's waking up !" She said in a hurry before asking for Lucas and Kermit to leave, they nodded and Lucas wanted to cry, but didn't, he stayed strong.

One hour after, Lucas and the others were finally able to visit Maya, and Shawn rushed the first, all alone.
"Maya oh my god don't do that ever again !" Shawn cried as he hugged Maya. "Shawn..."she weakly said "I would never leave" she said smiling, Shawn cried even more.
A few minutes after Shawn left the room, happier than ever, and Lucas came inside.
"Maya I missed you so much..." he said in relief, Maya embraced him in a hug. "How are you doing ?" He asked her, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm okay, I mean I'm alive I could never wish for any better" she said smiling. "How about you Lucas ? How it's going with girls?" She asked smiling. "I... uhh... that's a weird question over there... I'm single and I'm okay with it I guess, you have no idea how glad I am to see you again!"

Maya and Shawn last hugged before they went away, yes, Maya was staying at Kermit's for a while. They both had a talk and everything went clear, she's staying with him for a while.
