Chapter 3

Why would Stiles be in the locker room? He promised he'd watch me play and wait for me after.

Thanking coach, I went on my way towards the locker room. Nearing the locker room, alongside the sound of my feet on the hard floor there were voices. One distinctly Stiles' and the other...a girl? What struck me most was the scent. It wasn't a wolf but definitely a dog none the less. A possible coyote?

My walk became hurried and helmet and stick were dropped to the ground, fearing the worst, I entered the room. I went unacknowledged as I closed the door behind me but it didn't last long.

"Who's there" the girl's voice rang. I remained silent but her voice became hushed "It's a wolf" was whispered to Stiles.

"Shit, damn it where's Scott." I could hear the sudden fear in his voice.

I could hear the coyote rise and walk my way but they were still out of sight. I thought of Stiles and so decided to take the risk and fight. As the stranger came into view, my legs charged into a run towards them before soon making contact. The fight was on: soon cut short.

"Malia!Y/N!" seconds passed as the fight continued and the door was slammed open yet we carried on.

"Malia!" Kira's call was heard clearly shortly followed by Scott and I looked at the girl in front of me, they all obviously knew her. I stopped suddenly shocked.

"Y/N?" my brother pressed for an answer gently. I didn't speak but pulled him into a tight hug as he explained everything. Who Malia was, why I hadn't been told about her and everything inbetween. Malia left with Scott and Kira who were meeting Lydia at her house and we were to head there later.

I stayed with Stiles in the locker room as I told him about the lacrosse game and what coach had said. We were interrupted when the door was opened and someone had come in, instinctively I stood up to investigate who it was.

"Liam?" The boys head jerked up in shock as he spun round. "Practice ended an hour ago, why are you only in here now?"

"I could ask you the same thing." He got me there but I wasn't gonna let him win whatever this was.

"I was talking to-"

"Me, she was talking to me" Stiles had cut me off but I didn't mind.

"Oh" was all the boy replied as once again talk was interrupted as Stiles' phone rang.

"It's Scott, I'll be back soon." and he darted out the door leaving a faded 'hello'

Great now it's just me and Liam.......send help

Awkward silence ensued before Liam broke it.

"So, that's your brother right?"

"Yeah that's Stiles."

"And he's a senior like Scott and Kira too? What year are you then?"

"Yeah and junior, you?"

"Junior as well. Maybe I'll see you in class, you have Coach for Economics right?"

"How'd you know that?"

"Your schedule fell out of your bag after practice, we're in the same class."

"Oh thanks Liam." reclaiming the page from his hand as he held it out.

The boy walked towards the door with a slight smirk, which was super attractive to be honest.

"I'll see you tomorrow y/n" and he was gone.

Damn that boy

Returning to my locker, I packed up my kit and headed out to 'Roscoe', Stiles' jeep where he text me saying he'd wait for me. Hopping in Stiles greeted me and began to drive away.

"So, how do you like the new kid. What's his name?" He spoke with a visible smirk, I knew he was teasing me because of my already red flushed face.

"It's Liam." I was growing more embarrassed as Stiles continued.

"He's cool, do you like him?" glancing over at me before focusing on the road again.

"Uh yeah he's nice so far, he's in my Economics class with Finstock."

Talk of Liam continued all the way home. I thought Stiles would stop when we got home but sadly not. As soon as Stiles saw dad, he yelled "Y/N has a new boyfriend!" as loud as he possibly could and never before have I wanted to kill him so bad. After explaining to dad what had happened, I went upstairs to change for Lydia's house to discover I had a text from an unknown number. Cautiously I opened it.

Unknown: Hey! It's me.

Y/n: Who's 'me'?

Unknown: Guess.

Hey guys so I finally updated and a little Liam moment!! I should be able to post more over Christmas break since we're off.
