"Camryn, wake up," I heard my mom say as she tapped my shoulder.

I groaned and buried my face into my pillow.

"NOOOOO!" I yelled, "it's Saturday, and it's summer!!"

"Come on, wake up."

I didn't mind her and just covered myself with my blanket.

"Be down in five minutes." She said as she slammed the door.

You see, my mom is very strict. I think she made children just to make us feel like we're in the military. She does this every day! She wakes me up and asks me to do chores and stuff. She doesn't even let me go out, for turtle's sake.

I stood up and brushed my hair, and immediately ran downstairs to the kitchen.

"MOM! GOOD MORNING!" I exclaimed.

"Good day, isn't it, Jeremy?" I said in a 'barney-tone' as I came over my little brother and pinched his cheeks.

"Stop acting like that," Ashley, my sister who is almost just as old as me, said. "it doesn't suit you, you old devil,"

"Ashley, watch your words," mom warned.

"Whatever," Ashley sighed as she chewed on her pancakes.

I grabbed a piece of pancake as I sat down with my brother and sister. I'm the oldest among us, which kinda sucks.

"Mom," Ashley started, "it's summer and I just turned 16, can you please allow me to hang with my friends outside? In the mall, I guess?"

I looked at mom, too, waiting for an answer and hoping for the best, maybe she might allow me and Ashley to go out now.

"No. Look at Camryn," mom said as she looked at me, "she's 16 too, does she ever go out? No."

"That's because you never allow us to," I explained.

"Yeah, mom, why is that? Don't you trust us?" Ashley complained.

"No." mom answered simply.

"Until when are you gonna keep this up?" I asked in the nicest way I can, "we're teenagers, of course we want to spend some time out... mom."

"Until you're 18." She answered.

"18!? What the heck!?" Ashley yelled.

"Mom!!!" I complained, "you act like you haven't been a teenage girl at all,"

"ENOUGH OF THIS," mom yelled as she stood up, and left.

"Mom is sooo strict," Jeremy complained.

"I know right," Ashley and I answered in chorus.

"What are we gonna do? It's summer, and for sixteen years of my existence, I haven't even spend some time outside with my friends. My friends are so lucky, they get to go to malls, parks and watch the movies together." I sighed,

"Have you ever heard of sneaking out?" Ashley smirked.

"I have, but--"

"Too afraid to get caught?" She chuckled as she took a sip from her juice, "never been caught before,"

Okay, I may be a girl with no experiences, but my sister is the exact opposite, she's a rebel.

"Ashley, when is the last time you went out?" I asked as I eyed her suspiciously.

"Just got home before mom knocked on my door.. about to wake me up." She answered.

I widened my eyes, "How could you do that?"
