Adrien took a deep breath as he pulled into Kitty’s grey driveway. He had no idea that the first time he would be seeing Kitty would be like this. To say he was nervous was an understatement. Adrien was shaking with fear. He had to control it though. He didn’t want to scare Kitty. What if Kitty didn’t like him the way he loved her? What if she only liked texting him through Instagram? Adrien pushed those thoughts in the trash can. He loved Kitty, and Kitty loved him. Adrien pushed the door bell. A soft jingle floated through the air. Adrien could hear shuffling on the other side of the door. The door creaked open to reveal Kitty. Adrien could feel her pain just by looking into her crystal eyes. He could feel the tiredness the waved off of Kitty.
“Kitty.” Adrien breathed out. He wanted nothing more than to lean forward and hug her. Adrien just stood there and stared, Kitty stared back.
“Adrien.” Kitty could feel the tears prick in her eyes. Adrien stepped forward, towards her. Adrien hugged Kitty. His arms wrapped tightly around her then frame. Kitty squeezed Adrien’s broad shoulders as they embraced each other. Kitty could feel the heat produced by Adrien, as she buried her head dipping into his neck.
“Adrien…” Kitty sobbed. She was overwhelmed now. She could feel the pain dissolving in her chest as Adrien breathed against her pale shoulder.
“I’m here Kitty. You’re okay. We are going home now.”
