Adrien was crushed when he saw Kitty locked in her room. Her lovely face was now covered with cuts and bruises. Glossy tears streamed from her eyes. Adrien could feel the pain radiating off of Kitty. He could feel his heart break every second he stared at Kitty.
“Kitty…” Adrien breathed out. He wanted nothing more than to touch her through the screen. Adrien wanted to hold her in his arms were she would be safe forever.
“Adrien.” Kitty sobbed, trying to stop the uncontrollable waterfalls coming from her eyes. She winced as her fingers brushed against her tender skin. She wanted nothing more than to cuddle up against Adrien and watch a movie.
“Kitty what happened? Who did this to you?” Adrien whispered, feeling like he could kill the person who did this to his beloved angel. Adrien focused his attention on the shattered girl on the screen. Whoever did this would pay later.
“My mom she was d-drunk and she h-h-hit m-me.” Kitty sniffled out and watched the boy across the screen knit his eyebrows together. Kitty could see the fire flaming inside Adrien’s eyes.
“She could have killed me…” Kitty choked and Adrien viewed her. Adrien wanted to be with Kitty right now, to wipe her swollen eyes.
“You are not staying there anymore.” Adrien almost shouted then remember he could hurt Kitty. Once that last sentence left Kitty’s mouth Adrien wanted her away from that monster as fast possible.
“You are going to stay with me. I live alone so it will be okay.” Adrien reasoned. Kitty tried to smile but she couldn’t. The pain was too much. Kitty felt like she would never be happy ever again.
“It won’t work. How am I supposed to get out of the house?” Kitty was up for the idea of leaving this house. She wanted nothing more than to get away from her psycho mother.
“We’ll work something out late, but does that mean a yes?” Adrien smiled, a hopeful glint in his eyes.
“Yeah” Kitty attempted to smile. Adrien felt as if the planets aligned. Everything was going right, his world was perfect. Adrien didn’t want to hold back anymore. He wanted Kitty to know how he really felt. He said the words that he swore he would never tell anyone again. Adrien wasn’t afraid anymore.
“I love you Kitty.” Adrien spoke.
“I love you to Adrien.”
