Snow bellowed down from above sending the usual the Tokyo streets of Harajuku to a winter wonderland the streets were more packed then usual it was very hectic. The cold bit at your reddened nose. You shivered trying to warm it with your gloves. Today was a very important day. Yes, it's Christmas Eve but more important it was Licht's birthday. You hopped along his favourite streets to the theatre where he was probably practicing piano with Hyde babbling about how good it is. Sometimes you wonder how that vampire is still alive after all Licht's beatings. You had also bought a strawberry shortcake which you held in your hands along with food and a gift for him.
You entered the huge theatre which was quite quiet at the moment. Wondering around was kinda nice since no one was around. You heard the piano playing wonderful melodies. There he was in all his glory wearing a suit still from earlier from performing a Christmas Eve recitial.
He played before you. An angel with a delicate touch and ability. To make those cry before him to send tears streaming down anyone who listens. The song seemed sad which made you tear up and could hear hyde sniffling and blowing his nose into a tissue.
" Bravo Bravo Licht-tan!" Hyde was clapping and tears were pouring from his eyes. Licht didn't look so amused at his vampire companion. You giggled seeing the two they were a hilarious duo even though Licht doesn't believe so. Licht's head bolted up when he heard your giggle. His facial expression change into a smile seeing you were holding a lot of stuff he helped you out.
" What's all this for my angel?" He smiled.
" You stupid Angel Licht...its for you happy birthday!" You hugged him bringing him into your embrace. He was surprise by all this his face flushed. Hyde only chuckled winking at him leaving the theatre thinking it'd be best for his safety. Plus he thought that Licht would just want to celebrate with you in privacy.
" T-thank you you didn't have to any of this or even buy me a gift or anything..." he blushed scratching his head.
" Bad Licht-Angel-tan!" You whacked him with your phone sitting down on the theatre stage. Licht sat down watching your every move as you set up everything. You had bought some sushi and a melon soda for him, since it was one of his favourites. He grabbed the drink and opened it immediately gulping it down quickly.
" Bad angel you were supposed to wait idiot." You pouted whacking him again. He frowned pouting catching a chaste kiss from you.
" Sorry my bad (Y/N)." Wiping his mouth. You had set up everything and dug in with your cute pink chopsticks. Eating was quiet,awkward almost like some tension between you not bad tension but a good one. It made your heart beat faster and your face feel hot to the touch.
" You ok?" He asked concerned. You nodded your head grabbing the candles for the cake from your bag. Licht was turning 19 so you needed to put that many on and light them up too. You did it as quickly as you could. He was watching you in amusement trying to light them all before they completely melted.
You sung happy birthday in your best singing voice you could do and Licht blew out all the candles quickly.
" What did you wish for Angel-cakes??" You asked smiling grabbing his hand, entwining it with yours. He paused and smiled then chuckled.
" It wouldn't come true if I told you." He only chuckled grabbing the knife cutting a slice for himself. Before you knew it he was trying to feed you cake.
" Open up (Y/N)" he smiled amused feeding you the cake. You took the plate and the fork and giggled. Bringing the fork up to his mouth.
" Open up Licht-tan!" You smiled cutely which melted his heart on the inside. He hesitated but did so blushing looking away. You tackled him on top of him the cake landing on the theatre floor.
Oops.
But there was that feeling again. Licht was heavily blushing cursing under his breath. As your eyes met both of your hearts beated faster the silence only making the feeling more intense. He smashed his lips into yours which surprised you but you've should of seen it coming. You kissed back your tongues entwining with the sweet flavour of the cake sweetening it more. He broke it panting for air.
" Happy birthday my precious Angel." You smiled happily.
The janitor wasn't so amused to have to clean up of you which you apologized as you ran off into the late night hand in hand with Licht.
