Heath's P.O.V.
I knew it! I shouldn't have taken her advice! I'm so stupid! Damn. Now Megan's creeped out because of me..
After what happened in the janitor's closet, I ran to my car and now I'm driving home.
~~Flashback~~
I pulled away from the kiss with a grin plastered on my face. I looked at Megan to see her blushing. Aww, how cute. Yeah, I'm that whipped.
Megan shook her head and looked at me horrified. My grin quickly fell as it got replaced with a frown.
"N-No offense, Heath, you're being creepy right now.." She said getting out of my embrace to open the door. She went out and closed the door gently, I heard quick footsteps making me know that she ran. Away. I stood there for a moment frowning. I sighed and ran to my car angrily, heading home. To talk. To someone.
~~End of Flashback~~
I parked my car and went out then slammed the door shut. I walked in our packhouse's front porch. After entering the door, I slammed it shut.
"MOM!!" I shouted from the top of my lungs. Mom appeared from a kitchen wearing her apron.
"Yes, dear?" She asked me sweetly. See? That's why nobody gets mad at her for a long time, it's her voice. Her sweet, caring voice. It's too sweet to make you guilty for shouting at her, but when the circumstances are deadly serious, she becomes the perfect, dominant Luna.
"We need to talk," I said, calming down a little. She nodded as she wiped her hane on her apron and took it off, she went in the kitchen and came out without it, I nodded and went straight to my room with my mom following me.
I opened my bedroom door as I heard my mom sigh
"Honey, how many times do I have to tell you to throw your clothes in the basket, not all around," I looked at her to see her frowning, I just shrugged and went to sit on my bed. I patted the space next to me and my mom sat there looking at me with a sweet smile. I groaned internally
"Mom, don't look at me like that.. You're making me feel guilty even though I did nothing..." She chuckled, shaking her head.
"What is it that you want to talk about?" She asked me, tilting her head to the side
"Remember the advice you gave me?" She nodded her head as I continued, "I took it. But she just got creeped out.." I said looking down and frowning. My mom put her small hand on my cheek
"Oh, honey.. Tell me the story," I nodded and told her everything. The part where I pulled her in the janitor's closet, the hugging, the kissing and her running away. It just made me more depressed thinking about it. My mom looked at me with a blank expression on her face. Then she started laughing.
She laughed. She effin' laughed. I glared at her but I quickly looked down. My mom looked so carefree when she laughed that I can't even glare at her! Damnit!
"Why are you laughing?" I snapped
"Oh.. honey.." She shook her head hugging me, I hugged her back, confused
"Mom?"
"Hmm?"
"Why did she run away like that? I mean, I did take your advice. I even forced a smile."
"Well, apparently, you maybe were looking like some retard rapist to her, no offense, that's why she was creeped out..." She said trying not to laugh
"But you told me to smile, so I did!" I whined
"I told you to smile normally and when the circumstances are right. Maybe she thought you were gonna take advantage of her, well you did kiss her which is a complete surprise to her, so maybe she felt awkward.. Give some space for a while and talk to her when the time comes," she smiled at me getting up, "Oh, and you're grounded."
"I'm grounded? Why? Because I creeped her out? That's unfair, mom!" I whined again. She flicked my noise and I wince. So much for being so sweet..
"No, not because of her. You're grounded for skipping school" She smile at me before heading to my door and opening it, "But only 3 days since I really love you and understand your situation," She said going out of my room and closing the door behind her.
I sighed and plopped on my bed. Well, atleast I now know the reason she ran away. Maybe.
(End of P.O.V.)
Megan's P.O.V.
I sat in my last class, dying for dismissal. I tapped my fingers on my lap rapidly, looking at the watch. 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... KRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!
I stood up from my seat and gathered my things, putting it in my bag and getting out of that classroom. I swiftly ran towards my locker and put some of my things inside before closing it. I ran to the parking lot to spot my brother almost leaving the campus. I quickly ran towards his car and tapped on his window impatiently. He rolled his window down and raised his eyebrow at me.
"I need a ride home." I told him blankly. My brother just nodded as I went in the backseat. The drive to the house was silent until we arrived. I quickly went out and ran in, straight to my room. I grabbed my phone and texted Gracie that I went home early and quickly turned it off.
I kicked my shoes off and jumped in the comfort of my bed. The scene kept repeating in my head as I burried my face on my pillow. What the fudge was wrong with him? Why the fudge did he kiss me? Then my stomack twisted a knot as I remembered, That was my first kiss.
