Few weeks later
You and Adam spoke to each other as...good friends only. Obviously. Caz was going off to Singapore for a meeting, some sort of training for her work. So for now it was just you and your boyfriend.
Rowan: Come babe. Let's go out for lunch. How about Wagamamas?
You: Let's go.
You really did love Rowan, no doubt. He treated you like a princess. Like you were the only one. He was really good looking, so lot of girls would look at him in all sorts of ways, but he was yours so it was ok.
Rowan: Who you texting?
You: Just a friend why?
Rowan: Oh. Caz is gone I was wondering does she really have 'friends'?
You punched him playfully as you sat in his white Jeep. Adam knew by now that you had a boyfriend, but I guess he still had a TEENSY weeeensyyy thing for you, deep down.
You: How's work?
Rowan: Mmm. It's ok. Just lot of meetings. Being the manager of ITV ain't easy, I'll tell ya that.
You: But you love it don't you?
Rowan: Yeah, but I love you more.
You both stared into each other's eyes as the car stopped. You gave him a peck on his cheek. You got to the restaurant and ordered drinks and food. Rowan laughed at everything you said. You made each other happy. You felt safe with each other.
*ring ring*
Adam💖💖
You: Sorry babe excuse me.
You got on the phone and walked out since you couldn't hear anything inside.
You: Hey what's up Adam? You never call unless it's urgent.
Adam: I'm in London.
You: No. Really? WHEN DID YOU COME?!
Adam: Today morning.
You: How DID YOU NOT TELL ME!
Adam: Surprise *laughs*
You: Oh we HAVE to meet up. My work is finishing 2.30 tomorrow. I'll give you the address and don't get lost. Ok I have to go nowwww. Ta ra!
Adam: Byeeeee.
You ran back in smelling the food on the way.
Rowan: Who was it?
You: Just a friend. They've come to London from New York so they want to meet me.
Rowan: Nice.
You and Rowan caught up with everything and life and just had a romantic time.
