Adam: So sad I couldn't meet Caz! Make sure she comes New York. We're gonna partyyyy.
You: I'm going to miss you so much. Please don't go.
Adam: Come with me.
You: *laughs* are you ok? I can't leave my job, my parents, ROWAN?!
Adam smirked at you while he gave you one last hug before he went into security.
Adam: Thank you y/n. We had an amazing time.
You: No thank YOU, for everything you did with me.
Adam: See you in New York. *kisses two fingers off*
Naz: Y/n let's go. Your parents house yeah?
You nodded at Naz as you waved at Adam. You did feel really sad that he went. Just knowing that he was going to be like 10,000 miles away from you made you a little grumpy. Like he was your best friend and, he was just too far. Naz dropped you off. You got to your room and started talking to Rowan.
You: I need to say something Rowan.
Rowan: Shoot.
You: We need to postpone the engagement for a few months.
Rowan: What?! The engagement? The one like 3 weeks away?!
You: I need this time. It's my career. It's my life. I feel like I just need it to be a bit more stable.
Rowan: Are you fucking dumb?! What am I meant to tell my parents!!
You: I'll talk to our parents. Just...I'm gonna go tell my mum and dad. Bye.
Rowan: Don't fucking cut the c-
Rowan kept calling you and texting you, swearing and going all violent. You really just needed a little more time to get to know Rowan a little bit more. It was just a matter of 3-4 months. If he did love you he would wait for you, wouldn't he?
You went and told your parents. They really understood you. You then told Rowan's parents, they were upset but they understood.
