The drums get louder and louder. Then the strumming of guitar strings chime in. A split second later and I'm blinded my bright lights hitting my eyes. I immediately close my eyes. When I finally decide to open them, I see bright purple spots everywhere. I try to blink them away. I see the silent crowd all staring at me with concentration. I focus back on the song being played, I recognise it! It's my favourite song! I take one deep breath. I find myself singing the lyrics. I know this whole song off by heart because of the weeks on end I spent listening to it. I get into the song and really enjoy it. The audience loves it! "What?" I mumbled as I rolled over in my bed.
"Olivia, you have to get ready for school,"

"OLIVIA! You get out of your bed at once young lady! How many times do we have to go through this!? Put on your school clothes, go down stairs and eat your breakfast! Quickly! The bus will be here any minute."
"Ahh how I love it when Dad finds out that I'm still in bed," I whisper to my mum. She grins at me, trying to hide her laughter.
"Now, Olivia!"
"Okay, okay Dad. I'm coming." I replied.
My mum left my room and I threw on the horrendous school uniform. I go to one of those preppy schools. White button up tops, tie, plain skirt, stockings, black no-scuff-mark shoes, knit sweater. I think you get the picture. I'm really grateful for being able to go to a school like that, but it's just not for me. I rush down stairs and scoff down some Cheerios, my favourite cereal. By then, the school bus had arrived. I hopped onto it, found a seat where I could be by myself, and blasted my music through my earphones.
