Kaito sighed as he sat down on the swings at the Beika Park. He swing himself back and forth slowly, absentmindedly.

He remembered the look on Shinichi's face when they talked a few moments ago.

Hurt, insulted, anger and so much hatred in his beautiful blue eyes. He sighed again, dejectedly.

He didn't know. He thought that Shinichi was just playing around. Besides, the frusteration of being groped and touched by random guys was already building inside him. When Shinichi touched him like that, he just- snapped.

He didn't really meant to unknowingly rejected him.

When he heard Shinichi cried in the room as soon as he stepped out, it must've really hurt his feelings. Or maybe he cried for another reason.

Who knew what could his meitantei thinking inside that logic-only head of his.

Kaito kicked the sand infront of his shoes. He could feel that his eyes are burning with sad tears as he thought about how his chance to be together with the lovable detective crumbled.

He stopped swinging himself, head down, hair covering his face to hide the tears falling from his eyes from watching eyes.

He gripped the swing's chains tightly in his fists until it turned white. He wipe the still rolling tears silently, cursing when it won't stop and walked away hastily. Though he seems to not noticed that Ai, Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko, Aoko and Saguru were all watching him.

Ayumi frowned sadly. "Kaito-oniisan looks so heartbroken. Just like Shinichi-niichan. I wonder what happened..." she mumbled.

"I think Kudo-kun told him to leave him alone. Because it seems to me that they didn't talked very long. He arrived here a few minutes after us." Ai said.

Aoko sighed sadly. "I bet Kaito will locked himself in his room and drowned himself with chocolate ice-cream like he always do. Or just-"

"Stare a hole on the wall." Saguru finishes for her. Aoko nodded, sad for his friend.

"I had put a detecting and listening device on Kuroba-kun and Kudo-kun." Ai said. "Oh! One of Hakase's inventions for Shinichi-niichan when he was Conan-kun!" Mitsuhiko said, eyes bright in recognization.

Ai nodded and put on the speaker loudly.

What they could heard were soft cries from Shinichi and occasional sniffs from Kaito. Ayumi stared at the device in wide eyes.

"Shinichi-niichan is..."

"... crying..." Genta finished in awestrucked.

Saguru and Aoko stared. What they heard from mostly every sources speculated that Kudo Shinichi is not a very expressing person. To hear Shinichi crying, live, is just...
