We all decided it would be a good day for some sword/bow practice. Me, Edmund and Peter got on horseback with our swords, while Susan and Lucy practiced with the targets. Half way through our fighting the beaver that help the others get here safely, came running up to us.

"Edmund, Peter. The white witch has declared a meeting with Aslan. She's on her way here."

With that we all hurried to where she would be. We got there just as she did, the first thing I saw was the little dwarf shouting out that the Queen of Narnia had arrived. The Ice Witch than came into view atop a throne with four of her minions carrying her. As she went past us she glared at me and Edmund.

"You have a traitor in your mist, Aslan. And not to forget MY prisoner!"

"His offensive was not against you and she's not your prisoner." He replies.

"Have you you forgotten for the laws which Narnia was built on?"

"Do not cite Deep magic to me, witch. I was there when it was written." Aslan snarles.

"Then you will know that the boy and girl belongs to me."

Peter quickly stepped out in front of his brother with his sword out. While Ed was keeping me behind him.

"Try and take them than!"

"You think that force will deny me my right, little king?" She said trying to insult him.

But Peter was still taken back by the her insult. The Ice Witch continued talking.

"Aslan knows that if I do not have blood as the law demands, all of Narnia will be overturned, and perish, in fire and water. That boy will die on the stone table as is tradition. Than I'll take back what's mine!"

"Enough! I shall talk with you alone."

She then walked smugly into Aslan's tent looking back at us.

"I wonder what's taking them so long they've been in there forever?" Lucy asked but not really expecting a reply.

Just than the Witch stepped out and went straight to her chair. Aslan came out after her.

"The Witch has denounced her claim on Edmund and Kathryn." Aslan announced.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in.

"How will I know your promise will be kept?" The queen shouted.

Aslan answered in a single roar that made the Witch sit down and leave. The crowd went up into cheers. But when I looked over to Lucy, she was looking at Aslan who seemed to be sad. We quickly shook it off and continued basking in our mini glory and freedom.

Eventually everyone stared getting ready to go to sleep, I always look forward to sleeping it's the only time when people are completely peaceful.
It felt like only a few minutes before Lucy started shaking me and Susan awake.

"Oh Lucy, why are you always waking me up?"

"There's a shadow outside."

"Wher- Oh I see it." I say still half asleep.

"Me too." Susan say sitting in her hammock. "Let's see who's out there."

"Susan are you crazy!?" I say.

"Oh come on, don't be a wuss."

"Fine."

The three of us walked out and scanned the area until we found what we where looking for. It was Aslan. We all gave each other a look and continued to follow him as quietly as we could. We where surprised how far we've walked from camp and started getting a bit anxious.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" Aslan says stopping.

"We couldn't sleep."

"Please Aslan, couldn't we come with you?"

I felt a bit odd just standing there saying nothing. So I tried to say something.

"We won't get in the way, like uh, talk to - disturb you."

From that I got a 'are you serious' look from Susan and a held in chuckle from Lucy.

"No don't worry about getting in my way, I would be glad of the company tonight."

After walking deeper into the forest and for quite a while, Aslan stops and slowly turns around.

"It is time. From now on, I must go on  alone. Thank you Susan, Lucy and Kathryn, farewell."

By the serious look on his face and in his eyes we knew there was no convincing him. I just wonder what it is that Aslan has to do that is so important.
Once Aslan was just out of view we went to hide behind some bushes and peek through. There was so much to take in that my eyes just darted from one thing to another. There was a single staircase leading up to a table. On each side of it there where hideous beasts shouting and cheering. At the top of the stairs, was the one and only.... White Witch!
