It had been exactly a year from Phil's death. Everyone was sad. The entire (what seemed like) phandom gave me cards saying that it was okay and that I shouldn't stop making videos. It was very nice, although I don't think the phandom understood how devastated I was.
I didn't give two shits about Phil.
Well, I did, but that was before the V-Day Video.
I broke up with Phil after that and I never trusted him again.
Why?
He broke our promise. Our promise. I told Phil not to expose our relationship to the internet because I didn't want anything to come between us our make the internet tell dirty lies.
He broke that.
Sure, he made it private, but somehow it leaked.
I doubt it was 'somehow'.
Ah, I remember when we had a fight over that.

"Yeah?" He came into my room, all innocent-looking.
"How could you do that?" I shout, surprising him.
"Do..what?" He asked, snaking his hands around my waist.
"This!" I scream, grabbing my laptop and showing him the comments of his video.
"What? That was meant to be private, Dan!" He jumps back in surprise.
"I can't fucking believe it." I put my head in my hands.
"No! L - listen to me Dan, it was private!" He says.
"'Dan, it was private! Dan, listen!'" I say, mocking him. "Bullshit."
"Dan - "
"Just get out." I say.

After that, I decided to break up with him. He accepted it.
But we soon got back together, about a week after what happened.

"Dan?" He says, calling me from his room.
"Yeah, what?" I say, still salty from what happened the week before.
"I know I've been a bad person, and I broke our promise. I miss calling you babe, I miss calling you my boyfriend. Daniel James Howell, will you be my boyfriend?"
I sighed. I wanted to say no, but he looked so heartbroken.
"Fine."
He jumped up in joy, and kissed me.
