Raven
The next few day after the party were spent with my three favorite males having meetings about me... Without me. I spent most mornings the same way: wake up, have breakfast, roam the castle hallways and having long chats with my father in the evening.
This morning was different.
I stretched from my bed, arms over my head, and a sharp pain comes from my stomach.I jump out of bed and make it to the bathroom just in time. I heave my three course meal from the night before. When I finish, I flush the toilet and brush my teeth, using extra mouthwash. Passing the mirror, I do a double-take. Where there was once a flat stomach, I now had a little bump. "Maybe I'm just getting fat. Doing nothing around the castle will do that to people."
A knock sounded on the door and in strode my ever loving mate. ~Note sarcasm please.
Trailing behind him was an innocent looking girl. About sixteen years old with wavy brown locks and violet eyes. She stood about 5'2 and was dressed casual. I immediately liked this girl.
"Good morning, mo grá," he said as he came to me and kissed my head. I smiled at him as I eyed the girl who had a knowing smile on her lips. Gesturing to the girl, he said, "This is Clara, she's a seer and a light witch. She is assigned to you in case you need anything; a nurse, a friend, help with the future."
I looked at him curiously, "What brought this on?"
He smiled and said nearly guiltily, "I'm just running around so much these days, it seems I've no time for you. I'm sorry Raven," he says the last part sulkily.
I pull his head to mine and kiss him. When I pull away I say, "The world wasn't created overnight, Hell is no different." He smiles ruefully, kisses me again and walks away nodding to Clara as he closes the door behind him.
"Now, what shall we do with the time before us?" Her melodious voice sounded like tinkering bells and was well suited to her Scottish accent.
"Where should we start I wonder," I said already knowing where I'd like to start.
She nodded as if reading my thoughts and said, "If you want to know so badly, sit down or it'll get messy."
I complied.
"Now then," she started, taking the seat Khistian had taken the first night he brought me here. "When your mate first brought me here, in this dimension, in this room, take your pick. I caught a glimpse of your future together." I gasped. She nodded and continued, "This is impossible unless the seer herself is linked somehow to the person she is seeing or unless she has already met the person - which is not the case as I would never forget such a pretty face," she said the last with a wink causing me to blush.
I started to get impatient and said, "Soooo? What did you see?"
She nodded and with a twinkle in her eye she said, "Well it was faint at first but then got more in focus so bear with me. It looked like you were sitting on a bench under a tree, reading a book, perhaps. The vision zoomed out until I could see a cottage, a flower garden, the whole shebang. Anyway, you put down your book or whatever you were holding and your prince came out of nowhere and stood before you, kissing you gently. A flock of little birds, maybe six or seven, landed in front of you both and started hugging you crying out 'mommy, mommy'," she broke off laughing softly. "You are seen hugging and kissing them all. And one of your flock comes out from behind the house with a woman." She looks pointedly down at my stomach, "He hugs you and rubs the woman's stomach, to which you run and embrace them both. That was all I saw," she finished hurriedly, and I know she isn't telling me everything. But I let it slide.
"So, would you like to explain why you were looking at my stomach so pointedly?" Clara blushed.
"You... Erm... You're.. Kind of... Expecting a wee bun in the oven???" She says this while rubbing the back of her neck and looking anywhere but at me.
"Are you alright, Clara?"
She nods, "If you'll excuse me, Miss Raven. I'd like a few moments to myself."
I nodded and said, "Say no more, take the time you need. And please, call me Raven. No formalities."
She nodded with a small smile as she left the room.
I sighed. Well so much for that idea.

I walked down the corridor aimlessly, looking over paintings I'd seen hundreds of times over. I swear if I see these paintings anymore, they're gonna start looking like my great aunt Mary - moustache included.
I kept walking until I passed the throne room. There was talking coming from inside. "You must listen to me, sir. The miss is carrying a babe and she'll be needing protecting. The babe is to be more powerful than even the archangels have been known to be. They will come for him when the time is ripe and when you let down your guards th--"
"ENOUGH! Nobody is gonna take my child from me or his mother. I will protect her, but now that she is pregnant, you will have to make sure that she conceives safely. The child is one thing but Raven is everything." I felt tears run down my cheeks at his words. He sounds like a heavy burden has been placed on his shoulders.
How did this even happen??? I didn't even know I was pregnant until I heard this. I heard Clara step out from one of the back doors. I wiped my tears and walked through the doors, being embraced by three males. "Woah, woah, woah. Why all the hugging? Did something bad happen? Am I dying?" I said the last part jokingly but you never know what the future holds. Lucifer lets go and smiles down at me saying, "No, little one. We're just happy to see you. Honestly, all the work we've been doing and my beautiful daughter in law is ignored. Honestly, beauty should be admired not neglected."
I smiled at the bastard lying through his teeth to me, "Ditto."
When he looked into my eyes it was like the mind link. I know that you know what we were talking about and I'm sorry that I can't talk to you about it. The question is do they know that we know what they don't think you know?
I shook my head and chuckled over Lucien and my father's shoulders. When they pulled back, I took a chance, "So,what were you all talking about?"
Lucien coughed and blushed. He was probably thinking over whether he should lie to me or not. "We were talking to Clara," he started. Looks like he chose right. "She said you had a bug." Apparently I was wrong.
I played along, "Oh really? Funny that, I thought that with me throwing up and putting on weight, I dont know, maybe I was pregnant?" I saw Lucifer looking at his son and shaking his head in disapproval.
He paled as he realized I already knew and was testing him. He tried to right his wrong but he was one second too late. I raised my hand to silence him, "Now I know that you care enough to lie to me when it concerns something that is growing and being nurtured in my own body... I don't want to talk to you about this right now," I finished glaring at him.
I turned to the other two men in the room and squealed with a laugh, "So look at the baby's granddaddy's." They smiled and hugged me, all the while Lucien slumped in defeat behind me.
It doesn't matter, he'll apologize later. I know it.
