-Julia's .Pov.-
When we got back to my house I made some tea and then sat down so we could talk about this. I really had no idea what to expect him to say to me. After a moment of silence he started talking.
"Before I start, I wanna apologize again. It was disrespectful what I did to you." He said looking into his cup. I nodded my head.
"I'm sorry I shocked you.." I mumbled. He chuckled a little bit.
"Well, the reason I did that was because, umm, my mum, she died because of some witches when I was five. My dad filled my head about how 'evil' you are supposed to be. He told me that there are no good witches, that every witch in this world is an evil old hag. But, after I met you, I realized he was wrong. He never met someone like you and I kinda get why. I mean, two witches killed my mum, his wife. I just, didn't know what to do.." He said. He looked into the glass of tea and rubbed his thumb on the side. I get it now. He's scared to death of witches just Like I HATE wolfs.
"I get it now." I said. He looked up at me.
"Really?" He asked. I smiled and nodded my head again.
"But, I wish you would have explained that to me in the first place so I didn't have to shock you." I said with a small frown. He laughed softly gazing up at me.
"In all fairness, you got up and left before I could have the time to." He said with a small smirk. I smiled and nodded shamefully.
"I'm still sorry." I said with a sigh. He shrugged his shoulders and looked back into his coup before taking a sip from it.
"It's alright I guess." He said after drinking some of the tea.
"Can I make it up to you? Maybe to diner or something?" I asked. He smiled.
"Sure. Sounds fun. How about tomorrow night?" He asked. I nodded. After that we finished our tea then we watched some t.v. After about an hour we started talking again.
"So whats your power exactly." I asked turning my attention to him. He sighed.
"I don't know. I've never even tried doing my power. I never had too. Even if it was good. I just never found out cause I never tried." He whispered. I nodded.
"What about you? How long have you known you were a witch?" He asked after about 2 minutes of silence.
"Well, my sister and I found out when we were five. Everyone made fun of us, making chants because they had a hunch we were witches. I was the one who got mad because of it. My sister wanted nothing more but to just forget about them and mess around, learn new spells. I didn't want anything to do with it until I was sent to my aunts house for a year. She told us stories about great witches and how amazing having powers was." I explained slowly making sure he understood the whole story.
"Then what happened?" He asked placing his arm on the back side of the couch, turning his body to me so he could watch me. I smiled.
"Well, after the summer we had to go back home. Gears changed and it was me who wanted to forget about the people and just learn new spells. While my sister wanted to to blow up on them. Not latterly in case you were wondering. I don't remember one time that my sister came over and actually not tried to make me stop magic." I said remembering back to when I was younger.
"Wow, what made her stop magic? Did something happen that year?" He asked. I took in a deep breath. This was a touchy subject.
"Well, we were twelve at the time and we were in the woods learning spells with our aunt. After we came home we had to go to bed early. Neither of us knew why but our aunt declared bed at nine o'clock sharp. My sister fell asleep rather quickly. I couldn't sleep for some reason. I just had this feeling in the pit of my stomach saying something was wrong. That's when I heard something I will never get out of my head." I stopped. My eyes were beginning to blur causing my vision to go blind. I guess he didn't really need to me to finish. He hugged me as I cried. The door flew opened causing us to separate from each other.
