Niall came downstairs eventually, still smiling from my oh-so-funny stomach. I looked at him and snarled as evilly as I could.
"Shut up, Niall. It's not funny. Make me food...NOW." I said to him, emphasising the word 'now'. He chuckled at me then turned towards the kitchen cabinets, the food practically pouring out when he opened one. My stomach tried to rumble once again but I used every single bit of energy in my tired body to silence it. Niall began pouring some stuff, don't ask me what, into a bowl and began stirring vigorously. I got up and walked to him. "You sure you know what you're doing there, big boy?" I questioned, lifting my eyebrows. He looked up and smirked. " I'm not that stupid you know. I can make a mean pancake." He stated, lifting his eyebrows, mimicking me.
I sniggered, saying, "Wanna bet?" He narrowed his eyes in challenge, and passed me a bowl and spoon. "You're on."

After a intense session of pouring, mixing and flipping pancakes, Niall and I sat down at the table with a big 'thump'. I turned to him. "So, I eat your pancakes and you eat mine. OK?" I asked him, confirming what he had said earlier. He nodded, passing me his plate and picked up my own. When I looked down at the delight before me, I was surprised. I had been so wrapped up in my own pancakes, I hadn't realized how beautifully presented Niall's were. I sat, mouth wide open, in shock, for at least a minute or two.
Niall looked at me, and smirked. "What, Princess Car, lost for words are we?" Flushing scarlet, I smiled slightly, picking up a fork. I couldn't believe that he remembered my nickname, that he even remembered our times together. I picked up a piece of the gorgeous food in front of me and nibbled warily, one of the corners. The sweetness kicked in the moment the pancake settled on my tongue, and the raspberries Niall had placed on the top, gave a scrumptious tanginess and I wanted more. I sighed in pleasure, making Niall look up from his plate. I realized he had eaten nearly half of the plate. "What? I take my food seriously you know."I said innocently. " By the way this is really good," and that earned me a genuine smile from the one and only Niall Richardson. "Yours are nice." he said. I chuckled at him and began devouring my pancakes, just as the doorbell rang.
