Why Must I Care

I woke up later on that afternoon with a huge headache and a very groggy mind. The upset but yet calming memories of last night filled my mind replaying the conversation with ghost Aaron over and over bringing tears to my eyes. After the third replay Garroth came in looking a bit tired. I wiped a away the tears making sure he didn't notice them then got up and started my day after he left the room.

I walked into Katelyn's office and sat down the chair was huge compared to me but I still found it comforting. "So... what should our next course of action be Lady Aphmau" Katelyn said with a curious look and it made me laugh.
"I'm not sure but I think we need to head back to Phoenix Drop before something happens". She nodded her head in agreement as we headed to the door. I turned around to get up when I noticed a pair of shoes behind the chair. I looked up and there stood Garroth and I yelped as I jumped back shocked to see him there.

"Geez Lady Aphmau I know I might not look the best but you could at least try not to scream" Garroth said with a huge smile on his face knowingly that he scared the crap out of me.

"When did you get in here" I said calmly looking into his big bright blue eyes.

"I was in here the whole time, you didn't hear me?" He gave me a questioning look. I shook my head then turned to Katelyn.

"Lets get going now I feel like I could use some time when we get back to fix up the mess that is me" I said with a chuckle as we walked out of the office heading down the large hallway.

We got to the docks and loaded up the ship with the kids and the others. We put up the sails and enjoyed the ride home.

We docked the ship back at Phoenix Drop and got back into the village. We walked through many of the Irene worshippers trying to ignore them because I was way to groggy and tired to deal with them today. Me and Garroth walked up to my house at the top of the hill. I opened up the door to the purple house making my way upstairs. Garroth kept following me at first it didn't bother me but when I got to my door and he was still behind me I turned around to tell him to bug off but when I turned around he quickly put his hands on my cheeks and planted a kiss on my lips. My eyes widened to the point I was sure I bursted a blood vessel. When he stopped he looked at me then quickly walked off leaving me shocked. (SHE'S SHOOK) I finally got my head together and got ready for bed falling into a dream filled sleep forgetting about what happened earlier with Garroth.

I woke to someone lightly combing my hair I slowly woke up to see...
