"Sarah I'm so sorry." the doctor said in a pleading voice. "Bring me back to the light house!" I shot back, glaring at him. I still couldn't get over what happened. "Sarah-" The doctor began. "NO!" I screamed. "You bring me in a time machine, show me aliens, and almost get me killed?! Bring me back to the light house NOW or I'll-" "Or you'll what!?" the doctor said. His voice had suddenly rose dangerously. My fists were balled up into fists and so were the doctors. I'll-I'll" I stuttered. I ran down the stairs, under the circular control panel, and sat down in a corner, sobbing in to my knees.
I wrapped my arms around my legs and thought of my family. I missed them so much! Even Ethan. "I want to go back." I whispered.
"Do you?" said the doctor. I jumped and bolted up, not knowing he came down. I sniffed and wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. "Yes." I croaked. "Well, I can take you back. if you want." he said. I knew he wanted me to stay. "Yeah, I do. It's been nice meeting you, but it's just, I don't want to die." He half laughed and walked back up the stairs to where the control panel was, and I heard him pressing the buttons again.
