Anna's ~P.O.V~
I turned to the other side of my bed to check the time, it was 9:40. I wanted to go back to sleep, but my mother's nagging and yelling about how lazy I am and how much I love sleep, made me start to think otherwise but the part about not having breakfast really got me. My eyes shot open instantly. It was a tough decision now. Sleep or food. I sighed and I hesitantly chose food.Ok...scratch that I immediately chose food.
After my great decision as if on cue my stomach grumbled. I think it was proud of me for making such a good choice.
Ughhh, I groaned internally. Can't a girl get some sleep. Before you ask about not having school or anything, I'll have you know that it is the best day of the week.
A Saturday.
Yep, you heard me.
That means, No school, No mean ugly cafeteria lady who for some reason we're supposedly not to look in the eye, No boring teachers, No stupid jocks or slutty cheerleaders, just a beautiful ever-complaining mother.
Now tell me who wouldn't love Saturdays.
The best part is, I get to stay at home, no annoying friends, just my lovely home. Yeah I'm sure you're wondering why my life is boring, It's really not.
You see I'm not one who loves human contact and interactions at all.
I hate it.
Don't frieking touch me.
So definitely you find it in malls or Café's. People trying to make small talk and ask if your curls are real. Ask if you think the cashier is hot. Having to talk to the so called hot cashier to pay for what you bought. So digusting.
I pretty much prefer just staying at home listening to music. Watch something or just do the usual dancing in my private gym.
Yes I have a private gym. My house is ridiculously large, but very lonely.
It was bland, grand, quiet and empty. No cheerful colours anywhere. I looked at my room and just realised how lifeless and dull it was.
I never actually took the time to study it. My bed is a king-sized bed with grey sheets. My room colour, painted gray and white. Everything is dipped in grey and white.
The rugs, pillows, teddy bear (I know It's creepy that i still have a teddy bear and It's also named loo-loo but It's so cute i really can't let go).
Well my room was that way because grey was my favourite colour. Lifeless was my favorite colour. I had forgotten the purpose of existing a long time ago. I felt like a zombie now. They're also pretty cool if you ask me.
"Annabel laura stevens." my mom yelled. "If you don't come down here this instant, you'll be grounded for a month and plus no breakfast, lunch or dinner for today."
"I'm coming." Gee,woman don't get your panties in a twist. Well of course I didn't say that out loud, I'll be writing my own death sentence
I rushed into the bathroom and did a quick two-minute shower. When it comes to food, joking is not involved. I rushed out almost as soon as i came in. I grabbed an orange sweat shirt that said 'be yourself' and finished it up with with a black leather jeans.
I noticed the weather was quite chilly. I picked up my brush and ran out of my room. On my way downstairs, still struggling with my hair and skipping two steps at a time, the aroma of pancakes and eggs with sausage hit me.
As I perceived the amazing aroma, I ran even faster (If that was even possible).
I got there just in time to find my mom in the kitchen, dishing out three mouth-watering pancakes for me. I mumbled a thank you and I dug in almost immediately.
My mother turned to look at me sternly as she asked."What took you so long young lady?!"
"I was sleeping, sorry." I mumbled with my mouth full of pancakes.
Avoiding her gaze so I won't have to see that "Stop talking with your mouthful look." I tried my best not to glare at her because she was getting on my last nerve, pretending like she cared when we both know she didn't.
"What was that?" She asked as she handed me a glass of cold lemonade.
"I was still asleep, because I didn't see any reason getting up early, since we both know I don't do anything on a saturday. I'm sorry for ignoring your call." I finished, forced out a smile and went back to my food."Better" she said as she forced out a smile too.
I stood up from my chair and cleared my plates, not wanting to have any form of conversation with her. As soon as I finished. I went upstairs to get my jacket.
"Mom I'm going out." I called out to her from my room.
"Have fun sweetie." She said in a high pitched voiced. It was so fake I had to resist the urge to puke all over the fine carpet. I just scoffed instead, not wanting to spill my wonderful breakfast on the cold hard ground.
So, I opened the door that led to the only place that brings me life, joy and peace. Where i forget all my troubles and I don't have to think about anything in my life. With my mp3 player in hand.
I went to the "gym"A.N
