Haru took a deep breath, many different thoughts rushing through his head as the wind blew through his hair. Oh, how he had missed his hometown. The town he grew up in, met many kinds of people, and his closest friends. The place he learnt to swim, went through good times, bad times. So many times he had sat on the sand of the beach to sort out his feelings and thoughts, watching the waves come and go, rise and crash. This was the place where he had spent most of his life, and the place where he had found love. It had been three months since he had last seen his beloved Makoto, having had to part ways at the airport because of an important tournament that Haru was competing in.

Haru sighed and ran his fingers through his hair as another train rushed loudly behind him, lifting up the leaves on the floor nearby with a rush of air. He hadn't told Makoto that he was coming back today, wanting to make it a surprise. Oh, how he had missed his favourite tall brunette... The professional swimmer took another deep breath before stuffing his hands into his pockets and leaving the station, the strap of his bag slung across his shoulder.

He walked the familiar roads and streets leading to his house, next to Makoto's, taking a moment to watch the sun slowly descend, bathing the sea and sky in a warm pink and orange aura. Everything was so peaceful and quiet here, compared to the busy, loud cities.

Before he knew it, he was standing in front of a very familiar house, and his eyes met a pair of bright emerald green ones at the door.

"Haru, you're back! I didn't know you were coming back today! How long have you been standing there?? I just looked through the window and there you were!" the brunette squeaked in surprise as he jogged towards his lover and trapped him in a hug. Haru traded his usual stoic demeanour for a small smile as he closed his arms around Makoto.

"I wanted to surprise you. Makoto. Let's go on a coffee date now."

"Waaah Haru, always so straightforward... But Haru, isn't it getting late?"

"No. Let's go now."

"Alright alright... Whatever makes you happy, Haru-chan." Makoto mumbled as he kissed the shorter male's forehead.

"Drop the chan."

"Haha, sorry I always forget."

Makoto smiled warmly at his lover, holding his hand as they walked to the café in town. They used to often go to the café when they first started dating as third years, but now they didn't get to spend quite as much time together since Haru was busy with his swimming and Makoto had a lot of work in their hometown as a fireman. But they spent as much time as they could together, and Haru had no competitions anytime soon. As they arrived at the café, they took their usual seats inside, near a window in the back corner. It had been about a year since the last time they came here, and they had both missed the place.

"Haru, I'm so glad you're back. I watched the Olympics on television and I knew you would get first place, I'm so proud of you." Makoto said as he smiled his brightest, closed-eyed smile.

"I missed you." was the black-haired male's simple reply, a small smile enhancing his facial features.

After they ordered their drinks, their eyes met again, full of passion.

"Makoto."

"Hm? What is it Haru?"

"I have something for you."

"For me?" the brunette sounded surprised. He was already very happy that the man he loved was back, he didn't expect the latter to have brought him anything and watched as the man sitting opposite him reached into the pocket of his jacket, pulling out a shiny Olympic gold medal. Makoto rested his elbows on the table, his arms supporting his head as he looked at Haru, not understanding.

"Makoto, come here. Lean over the table." Makoto did what he was told to do, still confused. Haru simply slipped the medal around his lover's neck and quickly landed a kiss upon his lips before sitting back down, smiling.

"Haruuuuu..." the brunette covered his bright red face, embarrassed. "You know I still get embarrassed easily, and I didn't expect that..." He pushed his bangs out of his face and sighed, looking down at the gold medal he was now wearing. "But... Why did you give me this?"

"Because I won it thanks to you. I couldn't have done it without you. And I want you to have it. What is mine is yours."

"Aww Haru..." Makoto blushed at those words. "You may seem emotionless, but I know in reality you're so sweet!"

"Only with you."

"But Haru, the same goes for you. What belongs to me is yours too."

"Then give me your lips."

"Haru!!"
