The sun shined through the newly cleaned windows, adorning my face in a soft glow. Birds chirped soundly, making a mellow melody flow around our room.

I turned around in my bed, pulling the blankets higher up on my curled body. A distinct warmth swelled around me, cocooning my person in a big hug. I snuggled into the more than welcomed hug, feeling a smile tug on the edge of my lips, too bad it didn't last long.
Suddenly, the warmth was ripped away and replaced by a cold stable to the back.

I cracked an eye open to see Shi-Sho, dressed up in her darker grey clothes, holding two blankets in her left hand and mine in her right. She must have done the same to Mishaa and Mia. "Time for school."

Mia and Mishaa groaned, lazily throwing their pillows at Shi-Sho, who dodged them, all the while keeping her ground.
"The inmates wake up about thirty minutes after us. Unless we want a repeat of yesterday we have to get down to the dining hall before them."

Instantly we got dressed.

Mia put on her red shirt and some skinny jeans, pushing her short hair up into a messy bun. Mishaa, much like Shi-Sho, wore mainly black and dressed in a black shirt with some white designs on it, which created a large stare with a few ancient writing (made up of course) at the tips, a pair of midnight jeans topped off her outfit. I, on the other hand, dressed in a pale blue dress and was able to get one white Lily in my hair.

We rushed out of our room, I made sure to lock it, and Shi-Sho drew out the map, guiding us through the maze that was building 13. The maze of halls was like one large headache waiting to happen. We got lost a few times, I almost went tumbling down the steep stairs and the numerous guards we ran into just flat out terrified me. Did one of them have a tail?

Finally, as if the world gave us a break, we made it to the dining hall, and to our relief, we still had a solid fifteen minutes left before all the inmates got there. We grabbed our rice bowls and sat down, munching on it while pulling out our text books provided for us by the prison. The textbooks were thick and heavy, detailing the most rare and uncharted events in history, high level math and unknown sciences.

I found a very interesting event in Egypt in the text book last night and spent a good portion of the night reading up on it, using a flashlight to guide my eyes along the text. I have always been a huge history nut so this book became like my pet cat. Speaking of, I missed her dearly.

We spent our breakfast with open text books, pointing to events and talking about them.
"So why did the Egyptians eat their children?" Mia asked, biting her thumb. Just thinking about it have her goosebumps.

"It was mainly due to the horrible famine taking place. You have to remember this was 4,000 years back and people didn't have the technology we do today. Now it wasn't all of Egypt who ate children, it was upper Egypt and they did that because it was a deadly crop season. They had nothing to eat."

Mia gasped, "But they're children! Freaking cannibals!" Her lips formed into an angry pout while her cheeks puffed out. Honestly, she looked more adorable than mad.

Shi-Sho pointed out a math problem she had problems with last night, that she just couldn't get her mind around. Mishaa took her hand at it first, claiming she almost had it, but after getting her answer and checking it, she was a few numbers off. Mia and I took our hand at it together, talking though the problem and trying to figure out what x=2s could be. After careful deliberation we came up with a result; it was to f(BEEP)ing hard.

In all honestly, Shi-Sho and Mishaa where the math petitions, I was the resident history nut, an english and art lover while Mia was pretty good in Science and tools. I swear, that girl could whip up a cell phone with a pizza box and some wires all while watching the latest episode of Attack On Titan.
