I had a bad dream last night. Normally when I wake up I can't remember them but this one I could. I was falling. Not down a hole, not off a building, not into an ocean, and not out of a sky car. I was just falling. There was nothing around me, beneath me, or above me. There was no one to tell me where I was, or where I was going. I was all alone, falling. I remember I woke up in a warm shiver, scared to my bones. Nicole was by my side already. Something was off about this place, but I can't put my finger on it. I don't think it was that I had a sore throat, but it might be.

"Nat, are you okay? You were screaming!" Nicole blurts out. That explains the sore throat.

"I'm fine, just a bad dream." I was not fine. Nothing was fine. I was having bad dreams, seeing things, and am completely trapped in a blue room. Blue room, that was it. I looked around at the walls and saw that I was not in a blue room. This room was now yellow. Was I going completely crazy? I looked at Nicole to see if she had noticed, but she was gone. Not gone how she leaves, in her head, but actually physically gone. I looked around, and suddenly the walls were purple, then green, then red! What was happening?

~PING~

I burst awake at the sound. Nicole was sleeping in the cot next to me. Jon was throwing pebbles. And the walls, were still blue. It was all just a bad dream, it will all go away. I look up at Jon, and our eyes meet. I wait for him to go back inside, but he doesn't. Instead he walks forwards. He climbs down the fire escape until he is no longer in my sight. The next thing I know, I hear a click on the door, and Jon is leading me out. Out into a hallway. A hallway that has no color.
