Suspension

Chapter 4

"I can't do it!!" Naruto whined, making me sigh for what seemed to be the 100th time in and hour.

"Try it again." I compained back to him. "You will get it eventually. I promise."

"But i dont have that long! We have to know this jutsu for the graduation exam." Blob replied with a big pout on his face. "Is there anyway to make this easier?"

I thought for a moment, then i finally replied. "No, you just have to keep training with it. Thats the only advice i can give you. Sorry." When i glanced at him i noticed he had an extremely big pout on his face now. "How about we work on something else?" I suggested. His face literally lit up like a christmas tree when i said that.

"Like what? OH! Can we please do what you were doing before?" He begged with hope in his voice. 

"Umm..... thats a little bit too advance." I told him, and the hope in his eyes completely shattered. "But, i can teach you to walk up a tree with your chakra." 

"Catra? How do you walk up a tree with catra?" He asked extremely confused. 

"It's Chakra. Do you ever pay attention in class?" I muttered. Then began my explaination of what of what it was. 

"So, all i have to do is focus my Chakra to my feet? And i'll be able to walk up it?" He verified.

"Well, it has to be the correct amount of chakra." I replied to him. As he started with his training i looked up at the sky to see the sun was almost setting. 'Well might as well start my training.' I thought as i  summoned a clone and started my tai-jutsu.

"Hey, Naruto! I think we should start heading back." I yelled to him and turned to see him passed out from training so hard. I sighed and looked up at the tree. Noting that he only made it about halfway up the tree. 'He'll have to stay at my place,' I thought to myself as i put him on my back and teleported to the inside of my house. 

I took him up to the spare bedroom, as Kakashi was passed out on my couch with his book on his face. As i arrived in the beroom i pulled back the grey satin blakents and layed Naruto down on the bed and covered him back up with them. 

"Night Blob." I whispered as i silently walked out the door and closed it 3/4 of the way. Then i started my quest to get some food. On my way there i grabbed a blank and i threw it on top  of Kakashi.

Once i got to my kitchen i made some ramen, and sat down at the table to eat it. Just as i put the first mouthful in my mouth i heard someone coming down the stairs. 'Is Naruto awake?' I thought as i went to investigate and there he was walking down the stairs tiredly. 

"What are you doing up, Naruto?" I asked him. I must've scared him cause he jumped and nearly fell down the stairs. 

"Ahhh!" He shouted, then he realised it was just me. "Oh, Ivy-sensei? I smelt ramen and wanted some." He looked down with a sad face. 

"You can have mine, i'm full anyway." I told him and his eyes brightened as he ran towards the smell of the ramen. 

"Thanks!" He told me as he ran past me with a big smile on his face.

I sighed as i walked into the kitchen and my jaw nearly dropped all the way to the floor, the bowl was nearly gone! "Hey Naruto, you can stay the night here if you want and go to the academy with me if you want." I told him.

He stopped eating his ramen and smiled at me. "Thanks!" 

"Yeah no problem." I smiled back. When he was all done eating i washed the dishes and showed him the way back to his room. "If you need anything, i'm down the hall, last door on the left ok?"

"Yeah. Thanks again Ivy-sensei." He said as he shut the door 3/4 of the way. 'Just like i had it.' I thought. I strolled down the hallway and went into my room. Once the door was completely shut i changed into a black sports bra and some grey boxers i had bought a few days ago. 

It was about one in the morning when i woke to my door opening. I rolled over to see that it was Naruto. 

"What do you need?" I asked him tiredly.

"I umm, i had a nightmare." He said nervously. "And i was wondering if i could come i here." 

I mentally sighed. "Yeah come on." I told him and rolled over to the other side of the bed. 

"Thank you sensei!" He said, looking relieved. 

I nodded and went back to sleep.
