"I never said I was going to audition." I said to Tyrese and Vin. "I just said it would be funny if I did."
"Same difference! You should though." Tyrese said and I shook my head.
"I don't act, I'm a terrible actor."
"You're not that bad." Vin said. "You just need to be coached a bit."
"Yeah I'll pass." I drank the rest of my beer and stood up. "I'll be back."
They nodded and continued talking amongst themselves as I went to get food at the buffet table.
Someone put their hand on my hip and I looked up to see Chris.
My Chris.
"Hey." He said and gave me a small smile.
"Hi." I finished making my plate and walked away.
"Amber wait." He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him. "They told me what happened okay? I know everything. I'm not mad at you."
"It's almost been a month since we've seen or spoken to one another, so it's hard to believe you're not mad." I looked down and he sighed.
"But you understand why right?" I nodded.
"I'm sorry." He lifted my chin and kissed me.
God his lips...
"I missed you." He said and I smiled.
"I missed you too baby." He hugged me and kissed my forehead. "Where's jack?"
"With Anna."
"Oh."
We pulled away and he grabbed my hand and walked over to the lounge area. Bradley was there with his girlfriend and a bunch of other celebrities.
Chris sat down and pulled me onto his lap.
"Look who finally joined us!" Bradley said and smiled at me. "How's the bike coming along?"
"Finished it." I said and ate the slider on my plate.
"When's does the season start?"
"Next week. I'm doing global again this year so I'm gonna be in Spain then Paris, Italy, London... everywhere."
"That's good. Oh this is my girlfriend Irina." She smiled at me and I returned it as we shook hands.
"Amber." I said.
"Nice to finally meet you, Bradley has been trying to get me to come to one of your races." I laughed and shook my head.
"You don't look like you'd be a fan." She shrugged.
The next 20 minutes, Irina and I spent talking about photoshoots since she was a model while Chris and Bradley talked about movies and sports.
