Blackstar was a homosexual, but was fairly embarrassed about it, so he refused to talk about mates or mating with anyone but his deputies and medicine cats, and even then he was reluctant. He felt flushed for his medicine cat, Littlecloud, and the WindClan medicine cat, Barkface. He liked cats who could heal and were confident in their skills.
