2 WEEKS LATER...
We were on winter break and Jungkook came home with me to spend a couple of days at my house.
My mom asked if we could go get groceries for her, so we did.
Jungkook and I held hands while walking downtown to a small market.
The snow fell lightly onto us, but it wasn't too cold.
The Christmas lights shined brightly in the white sky.
We didn't speak, we just admired the beauty of winter.
All we heard was the crunching of snow beneath our feet.
I haven't spoken to Taehyung lately, it's been awhile.
-
Jungkook and I entered the small store and shoved things in the plastic red basket that he was carrying.
He paid for everything and we exited the store.
I kissed Jungkooks cold lips.
"I can't wait to marry you some day, Savannah." He said softly.
"Me too." I leaned my head on his chest.
-
We set the groceries on the counter and decided to bake cookies together.
It was a mess.
As Jungkook attempted to crack eggs in the bowl the doorbell rang and I went to answer it.
It was Taehyung.
My heart raced.
"Hi Taehyung."
"Hi Savannah, I...um...brought a gift for you." He handed me a present.
"Oh, thank you! You didn't have to! Would you like to come in?" I said.
"Sure." He stomped off the snow from his feet and entered.
-
All three of us finished baking the cookies.
"I can't believe we burnt those cookies! Are we that stupid?" Jungkook exclaimed and I laughed.
"Open your gift Savannah!" Taehyung said.
I nodded as they crowded around me in the living room.
I gently ripped the wrapping paper off and unfolded the tissue paper surrounding the item.
It was a picture frame full of pictures of us ever since we met.
My heart ached.
There was also a couple of candy canes and chocolates.
Lastly, there was a letter.
"Read it later by yourself." He smiled slightly.
I nodded and Taehyung left.
I stared at the pictures for awhile, but eventually I put it in my room so I could read the letter later.
