Cute TaeTae: Christmas Eve

A/N: Sorry for not updating often anymore, Idk, I slowly lost my interest in writing when my life became more social and busy. Anyways, since its break Ill start to update more often.

"Before 12?" He said through the phone at 6pm on Christmas Eve.

"Well duh, what would Christmas be without you?" You softly laughed sitting by the warm fire crackling quietly, creating a soothing and satisfying you could listen to all day.

"'Kay, I'll meet you at 7, bye (Y/N)." You could just imagine his soft smile in your mind.

"I'll be waiting, Taehyung. Can't be late, alright?"

"Yah! Since when was I ever late?" His yell boomed out of the phone.

"Well I don't know. Maybe last week when you told me you weren't going to be late for our coffee date or that other time you were gonna meet me at my house to watch a movie or that one time you made me wait and made us both miss a flight to Jeju, and that time you were going to meet my parents for the first time at my house for dinner and- Oh yeah! Our first date-"

"Yah! I get it! Aish, the things of the past." His response made you giggle but at the same time, disappointed, not sadly, just, shake your head kind of way, you know?

"Aw, saranghaeyo~ , even though you make me wait all the time." You mocked.

"Agh! I felt that, saranghae too, byeeee~" The phone beeped signaling that the call had ended. So at 6:03, you stood up to shove the cookies into the oven to bake, and waited for it to finish until 6:49. And while you waited, you were looking at the past photos you took last Christmas and played with your baby brother that kept bothering your sleeping parents.

So when the oven sounded an alarm at 6:50, you carefully took the cookies out of the oven trying your best to not let your brother touch it and earn a booboo on his fingers that was itching for a taste of your yummy cookies.

At 6:55, you took a picture on snow of the cookies and sent it to Taehyung captioning it: "better not be late, I might eat them all :P"

And finally, at 7:01, you reached for a cookie when suddenly, the doorbell rung. You stood up to open the door knowing who exactly it was. You opened the door, Taehyung, in a festive red hat, ugly sweater, and 3 presents in his arms was flashing an adorable smile while he waited for you to welcome him in.

"Awh! I was so ready to eat all the cookies!" You teased.

"Yah!" He pointed a finger at you. "No one should eat cookies before me, IT IS PART OF MY LAWS!" He pronounced like sternly in a manly voice.

"Keuuuu~ so manly~" You raised you eyebrows and in response, Taehyung raised his. Which ended up making both of you laugh.

At 7:40, the cookies were finished, so you decided to pop some popcorn and turn on a Christmas movie: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Which consisted of teasing, name calling, the grinch, and the grinchy Taehyung.

At 8:00, Christmas dinner started. During the dinner, Taehyung was a complete gentlemen compared to earlier, mostly because it was in front of your parents, he had to act kindly to you, which only made you smirk and giggle when he did. Although that was rather late, you ate deliciously until 9:30.

At 9:45, Taehyung began playing with your little sibling, he balanced your sibling on his thighs and made him soar in the air by carrying your sibling and making adorable airplane noises.

"You're so cute!!! - Oh and you too Taehyung." You joked, by then Taehyung was triggered and so was your sibling. Your sibling yawned which signaled nap time. So at 11:07, Taehyung tucked your sibling into bed.

"Good night (Y/(sibling's)N, Merry Christmas." You both whispered to your sibling.

(Sorry for saying "your sibling" a lot, I dont wanna assume genders. :D)

Normally, families would wait until morning to open their presents, so when its bright in the morning and the cookies and the glass of milk you left overnight for santa were just crumbs, children would open their presents and Christmas would be Christmas. But you and Taehyung are not normal people, you two are lit people. Only lit people stay up until 12 to open their presents. Only lit people sing Christmas songs at 1am. Only lit people don't wait for Santa to bring the presents. Only lit people rip open before morning. So if you do these things, you are lit.

While you and Taehyung waited until 12, you quietly played Christmas songs, knowing your family was asleep, and quietly wrestled. And when I mean quietly wrestled I mean locking both of you in the farthest room from the bedrooms and going crazy and violent. But you mostly won,

"HAHAHA! IM SO MUCH MORE BETTER THAN YOU!" You screamed, not nervous your family would wake up.

"FIGHT ME (Y/N)!!!" He challenged.

So at 11:51, you both dropped dead sweating. The score: (Y/N); 8 / Kim Taehyung; 2.

After resting and wiping down with towels, it became 11:55. You both sat next to the Christmas tree and began guessing what you got each other and bragged who's was better,

"Mines better!"

"Mines better!"

After arguing for what seemed hours, actually it only became 11:59, Taehyung wrapped his arm around your neck and pulled you closer and pressed his lips against yours just like last year. Your eyes held open in shock but closed again to enjoy the moment.

When he let go he smiled, "Merry Christmas."
