Upon my entrance, a gush of really cool air slapped me across the face, making me instantaneously regret my choice of wardrobe for said interview-which was really starting to feel more and more ridiculous in my head. Like, I overheard Ethan discreetly talking to Penny about how there were at least a hundred and twenty other people looking into this particular job.

There was no way I would be able to compete! And yet there I was.

I looked around the very spacious building that I might or might not end up working in, depending on how bad today went.

I nervously walked past the front door and went straight up to the lobby to stand before the front desk.

"Hello," I greeted the receptionist with a warm smile.

"Hello, how may I help you?"  the red headed woman,  who was probably around the age 27 or older, answered while giving me a stiff one in return as she tapped away at her computer, not bothering to look up.

It was a hospital, I knew that she was undoubtedly busy but that that doesn't excuse her obvious lack of mannerism.

"Yes, actually I'm here for the interview. My name is Camila Hemsw-"

"-Oh yes, Miss Hemsworth. Right this way." She cut me off and snapped her eyes off the computer, and started walking me in the direction of the elevator.

I followed her reluctantly, an air of unease seeping into my bones. I mean, I was told over a hundred people applied for this position. How on earth did she know who I was?

With Mae, according to her name tag, in the lead, we got into the elevator where she pressed the button to the highest floor, which was the 37th.

The ride up was extremely uncomfortable. She kept on glancing at me and giving me weird looks. I had to pretend not to notice.

Once we reached our destination, I Practically ran out of the confined space, forgetting that I was in uncharted territory and had absolutely no idea where I was headed. Thankfully, I didn't have to wander for long, or at all, as Mae walked up beside me, sweeping past me so I was encouraged to tag along after her. We came to a stop at a completely deserted hallway with a single door smack in the middle of it.
It was one of those all too familiar double door entrances which were built solely to intimidate and scare off unwanted commoners, Such as myself, the second our awed eyes came in contact with it.

Something inside me recoiled at the looks of it. It appeared to be over seven to eight feet tall, made out of a beautiful deep wood oak which contrasted nicely against the light baby blue walls which the hall was painted in. A large silver peep hole adorned the middle of it, followed by an equally large hoop handle which appeared to be there solely for knocking. It looks as if the door can only be handled from the inside...

Shivering at my own thoughts, a slight squeak escaped me as Mae grabbed the hook from the door and gently but firmly pounded the hook onto its latch with a loud thud.

" What?!" An audible gruff sounded from the inside, clearly not liking the intrusion. I shrunk.

" Your nine o'clock is here Sir, should sh-" She was interrupted by the sound of the door being unlocked and pulled open to reveal the form behind it.

"Move," he called towards her in a low voice as her fists tightened into little frightened balls of suppressed energy as she hastily complied. I watched in utter mortification as he peaked his head past the door frame and his hard eyes caught mine mid-death!

Please God, please let him not be the interviewer!

Please!

But... we all know he is.

All right guys, thanks for giving this book a chance and I know its a bit rough in a lot of parts but please forgive me. OK so...

Why do you think they knew who she was?

Who do you think is showing up in the next chapter?

Thoughts?/Theories?/Predictions?/laughs?/Comments?
