CHAPTER 22

Andrew turned towards big black gates which automatically opened , and drived through the endless driving lane that was covered with tress on either side of it . In front stood the grand Lloyd mansion sparkling because of the  golden lights 

These kinds of homes look good but I never liked them because they never felt homey . I like homes that are small having enough room for each family members and I want to decorate them according to my taste .  Andrew stopped the car in front of the main gate and got out whereas a valet opened my door whom I didn't even notice well typical Mia. Andrew gave the keys to valet who bowed in return and glanced in my direction giving me a weird look saying " I don't even want you here" well pal mutual feeling I would prefer Netflix and chill so much at the moment and dreaming about Harvey Specter while watching suits with some bubblegum ice cream Tub , the thought itself is so alluring.

I started walking when suddenly I was stopped , inquiring what's the matter I turned around to see Andrew holding my wrist giving him a questioning look and stood by my side "don't answer the questions that my mother will ask you I'll be the one answering them" he said with a daring expression .

"Yes my lord as you say" I Said in a high pitched voice and fake smile , in return he gave me an angry expression well what can we expect from Andrew.

He took my hand and literally dragged me to the front door , after the first bell the door was opened by the gorgeous brightly smiling Mrs . Lloyd herself , the instant she saw us she launched herself on us in a tight hug "I am so glad that you both made it" .

"As if we had any other options mother" said Andrew but with a hint of smile looks like someone has got a sweet side .

Ignoring him his mother turned to me " Mia you are looking very beautiful I always knew my son has a nice choice" ha ha nice choice my foot only if she knew about the monster

"thank you Mrs . Lloyd even you are looking very beautiful yourself" i said with a genuine smile because it was the truth

"i thought we were past the formalities just call me lily " she said while looking at Andrew .

"mom and Mia if you guys are done with your kitty party i will really like to go inside " Andrew said in a very irritated tone.

"oh god where are my manners please both of you come inside Joseph is waiting for you" she got aside so that we both could enter and on the way Andrew put a hand on my back obviously so that i don't mess things up.

if i said that the house was beautiful from outside it was hundred times more beautiful from inside and it also had a very homey look which was very surprising . Andrew took me to what looked like a living room where a man probably in his 40 which i guess was his dad was sitting .my doubt was cleared when Andrew went to him and hugged him looks like they share a nice bond.

"hi dad" he said smiling widely , smiling Andrew is my new favorite.

"hey champ" his dad said patting his shoulder "thank god you are finally here your mom was really worried about you which eventually worried me" awe such a sweet and loving  couple . then he turned towards me "and you my lady must be Mia about whom lily was telling me "

"yes , hello sir i am Mia Taylor and its nice to meet you" i said coming forward and extended my hand but instead he just hugged me , well OK looks like this family has a serious habit of hugging

"ok everyone please come the food is ready" and at that moment i felt excited i was craving for food andrew took me to the dinning room where delicious smell was coming . We all sat on the huge dining table enough for ten people , me and Andrew sat side by side and his mom and dad in front of us we were about to start when a voice interrupted us
"hello brother" a boy looking too young said with a huge smile and came forwards to hug Andrew .

Andrew got up from his seat and hugged him tightly while patting his back " hey champ long time no see, how was your trip to Paris ?"

"It was amazing brother I had great fun and even learnt a lot of new stuff" he turned towards me and gave me a smile "hi I'm Jacob the younger brother and you must be mia talk of the house" this made me laugh looks like only Andrew is the cranky one in the family "yes I'm mia and it's nice meeting you" , we all sat down for dinner and damn it was exquisite after a long time time I felt like I'm having good home cooked meal which made me a little emotional and made me miss home . Andrew was talking to his dad about business and stuff while his mother was talking to me about fashion and surprisingly Jacob was more interested in our conversation and I must say he had a great taste in fashion .

"So Mia how did you and Andrew met ?" Andrew's Dad asked all of a sudden . I looked toward Andrew and I stopped myself from giving the answer as before coming in he had clearly warned me not to say anything , let's see what story will mr .lloyd make .

"Well , dad Mia is an intern at our company and she used to behave in a strange way , later I was informed it was because she liked me , eventually I gave in and that's how we are together" he completed the bullshit while putting an arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer , me on the other side was passing him death glares.

Really this is the best he got me and liking him no ways in hell , how can he even think that . I really wanted to shout at him but seeing his parents sitting beside us I controlled myself but Andrew will definitely pay for this .

" what did you find so attractive in him mia ? he's a workaholic and so rude too" lily said mockingly, but no lily you are right there's nothing to like in your son keeping aside the good looks offcourse.

"Well lily the fact that he values his work and family makes him likeable and then offcourse the good genes that flows in your family" I said sweetly Afraid that if i didn't reply Andrew will kill me on the way back home .

" hahahah sissy you are a funny girl I already like you , we'll be a good team" Jacob said happily to which I winked because this guy is actually amazing

The atmosphere around the dining room was pleasant everyone was smiling even Andrew was looking content . I finished the amazing food and soon it was time to leave

I promised lily and Andrew's dad oops i mean joseph that I will meet them soon and Jacob already planned a shopping date with me .

Finally the dinner And meeting the task of jerks family was over which to be honest I enjoyed now let's just see what the future has
