"Ahh!" Was the first thing I said when I woke up this morning. My parents were out on vacation. Leaving me to myself. I think I'll do just fine.
My boyfriend and I planned on throwing a party every night, going out at night, skipping school, and anything else. My parents probably won't leave again until I'm fifty. I want to make this count.
Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring! Went my phone. I took a deep breath, and I picked up my phone and hit answer.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey!" Jake, my boyfriend replied.
"Hey." I added.
"What are you doing today? Skipping, or staying at that lame school?" Jake asked.
Jake knows I have to get my scores up. He knows I have to stay.
"Staying." I whispered.
I know Jake's a bad influence on me, but I'm stronger than that. He may drink, and skip school but it's not meant for me. But I do it when I have problems with teachers.
I hung up on Jake, and I walked over to my closet. How could I have over five hundred outfits, but have nothing to wear? I put on a pink silk skirt, with a bow on the side, dark pink heels, and a white dressy shirt. I walked into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and curled my hair.
I walked into the kitchen, and I grabbed an orange and a water bottle. Why ruin this perfect body?
I picked up my phone and texted Jake, "I'm ready 4 u 2 pick me up."
I sat at the kitchen counter and drunk my water. What will I really do? If I go to school, everyone will think I'm not popular anymore. If I skip, everyone is all over me asking, "How do you do it?" Whatever, I'll just go with the flow.
Beep! I knew that sound from anywhere! It was Jake's jeep.
"Here I come!" I yelled out. I quickly grabbed my jacket, my purse, my phone, and my backpack, and I walked outside.
Jake kissed me on my cheek and we rode off. It felt like we rode off into the sunset. We only rode off into school.
"Have you planned our party tonight?" Jake asked.
"Yeah! Just bring some extra toilet paper, and I already got the snacks." I replied.
Jake nodded, and continued driving. If you want to keep Jake happy, don't talk unless he talked to you first.
When we arrived at school, I kissed Jake and I walked into school. Like normal, everyone stared and everyone looked amazed. I'm beautiful, what did you expect?
"Avery, now you know you aren't suppose to wear heels on school grounds!" Mrs.Lanchestor yelled out to me. As bad as I wanted to put my middle fingers up to her, was as bad as I couldn't be suspended anymore. Therefore, I didn't do a thing.
I simply walked past Mrs.Lanchestor and continued to my homeroom. Like normal, there was a nerd from Chess Club waiting for me so they can carry my books. The day there isn't a nerd waiting, the day every nerd is going down.
"Hi, Avery." A nerd said. This nerd was actually pretty! She looked like a popular girl with nerd glasses on.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Lilly." The nerd replied.
"No longer are you in chess club, your with the cool kids now. Your very pretty and I'll give you some lessons. Don't hold my books. I will." I added.
Lilly nodded and said, "Yes Ma'am!"
"Now, take off these glasses, and put on this headband. Put this eye shadow on, and put these heels on." I took some heels out of my bag and handed them to the new popular girl Lilly.
"Thank you Ma'am! Thank you! I'm one of you!" She smiled. I think I made someone's day!
I walked Lilly into her homeroom, and I walked into mine. I told everyone about her and to respect her like she's me.
Today is going to be different. No parents, just parties and a free life! This is the start of something new.
