I wonder if she knows that I still lie awake at night contemplating how she lives her life.
I wonder if she knows she's still the reason why I wake each morning.
I wonder if she knows I want to rest my head on her shoulder when we sit close together.
I know we left eachother behind. But I hope she knows I still care.
I hope she knows that I wish her the best.
I know
I know
I'm still a mess but let me stay here for awhile just to catch my breath.
I wonder if she still remembers the things I did, and chuckles at the thought of a silly girl with a foolish smile.
I hope she remembers that love does not define her self-worth.
Yes its been quite a while since we've spoke, instead of shy glances and unsure smiles.
I hope she knows I'll still be there when she needs to rest her head somewhere.
