Chapter : 6 : Welcome Raven

Squirrelflight's POV

"Scourge?!" Firestar growled. "Im no threat... Im not Scourge I'm Ravenpaw's daughter Raven. Im descended from my grandmother Bloodbird who was killed by Ratbite... Scourge was my grandfather... Where your clan used to live... I met up with a apprentice from your clan... My father Ravenpaw... Then the Tribe of Rushing Water told me about you clans cats and I figured I would find you... Firestar Im wishing by your permission... Im asking to join your clan." The Kit said.

"Father?" I said padding away from Ashfur. "Im willing to teach her everything... I will train Raven."I said again. Firestar sighed. "Alright... Raven will be joining the clan as an apprentice... From this day forth till she has received her warrior name she'll be known as Ravenpaw, in honor of her father Ravenpaw." Firestar announced to the clan. "Her mentor will be Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight, I want you to teach everything you know to this apprentice. Teach her the skills that you learned from Dustpelt." I nodded at him. " A apprentice of my father's clan!" Ravenpaw said happily. " I will do my best as i can to train her in our ways" I said to my father. "We also have Leafpool's kit becoming apprentices.... Come forward you two" Firestar said. "From this moment on 'til they have earned they're warrior names Crowkit you shall be known as Crowpaw and Dapplekit you shall be known as Dapplepaw" Firestar said their new names. "Crowpaw, Dapplepaw, Crowpaw, Dapplepaw" The Clan cheered their name.

Firestar waited for the clan to quiet down. "Ashfur I want you to train Crowpaw. Teach her your loyality and your courage and pass it onto this apprentice. Cinderheart I want you to train Dapplepaw. I hope that you'll pass on your courage and your patients." Firestar said. Ashfur nods his head in agreement and bent his head and touches Crowpaw's nose. Cinderheart does the same. All the warriors padded up to meet the new apprentices and congratulate them. Finally the clan broke up into their groups. Ravenpaw and Crowpaw run up to us. "So what are we going to do today?" Crowpaw asked. "Show the territory you two!" I said. Crowpaw, Ravenpaw, and Ashfur followed me out the camp. Ashfur pads up next to me, "What are we going to show them first?" He asked. "Um, Windclan border, and make our way to the lake and to Shadowclan border" I said. "That's good" Ashfur said. "Firestar wants us to check the corders as well." I said again as we came close to the Windclan border. "Stop...." I hissed. I sniff the air and smelt a Windclan warriors padding up to our border. "Halt!" I yowl.

I run to the border and Crowfeather stood there shaking. I look at him concerned, "What happened to you... You look like you've got mauled by your clanmates" I teased. "W-Windclan drove me out.... I told them I had a mate in Thunderclan and they drove me out." Crowfeather said once he caught his breath. "I heard that happened before." Crowpaw stated. "A warrior from our clan named Tigerclaw...." He squeaked. "Tigerclaw was exiled because he tried to kill the leader before Firestar, Bluestar. He made himself leader of Shadowclan and he tried to rule forest until Bloodclan came to the forest and a cat named Scourge killed Tigerstar because Scourge wanted to rule the forest himself. And the battle against Bloodclan and your grandfather killed Scourge and saved the forest" Ashfur told Crowpaw and Ravenpaw. "I'll take them to scout the rest of the territory with the apprentices and you take Crowfeather back to camp. I'll be back at the camp at sunset." I said turning to Ashfur and give him a quick nuzzle. Ashfur padded off ahead of Crowfeather and me and the apprentices finish scouting the territory.

Ashfur's POV

I paced in the clearing waiting for Squirrelflight to get back to camp. The bramble entrance rustle and Squirrelflight and the apprentices walked in. "Get some prey you two. You both deserve it." Squirrelflight mewed to the apprentices. "What took you so long?" I growled. "I was showing them some battle moves" She said. "Yeah it was great!" I heard Ravenpaw mew. I turned around to face her and she showed me what Squirrelflight taught her. "Ravenpaw a quick learner like me when I was a apprentice. But I was also stubborn." Squirrelflight purred. "Until that journey you took with Brambleclaw, Tawneystar, Crowfeather, Stormfur, and Feathertail." I growled at her. "They may be fast learners but they will never be warriors any quicker." I growled again turning toward her after I saw Ravenpaw showed me the second move she was taught. "I CHOOSE TO GO ON THAT JOURNEY. I GOT AWAY FROM MY FATHER FOR A FEW MOONS. I WAS HAPPY TO HAVE HIM NOT SHREDDING MY PELT OFF!" She yowled at me. 

Not realizing that Firestar was behind Squirrelflight the whole time. Firestar flicked her ears with a flick of his tail. "Enough you two. You'll scare all the prey" He growled. I look at Firestar and back at Squirrelflight. "Mates fight Ashfur! Even with their own kin" Firestar growled, looking at Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight whipped around and stomped out of camp. Firestar and I watched her leave.

Well a fight broke out between Ashfur and Squirrelflight. Raven became Ravenpaw (Her father was Ravenpaw a Black tom with a white tip of his tail). 

High school is keeping me on my toes, I've failed two terms as it is so yea.
