11/17/2002 (Meredith)
Sorry, I did not write yesterday because I just couldn't keep thinking about what could be happening to Claire. It has been two full days since it happened. I'm just waiting for something to happen.
Someone, something, anything. I had saw that Claire wrote about her life so I will write some about mine so I have something to do.I am Meredith Emery Brooke. I have green eyes and brown and blonde mixed loosely curled hair. It's hard to explain, but I love it. My moms name is Amy, my dads name is Jonathan. I miss them so much I bet they are worried sick.
My mom was going to soon have a baby boy they were going to call it either Kyle or Jackson (Jack), but I guess I will never know.
Claire and I go to the same school and as written before in previous letters are best friends and are like sisters. We did everything together she knows my secrets and I know hers we are what you call true friends and it is hard to find that. But once you do you never let go.I'm one of those people who love to look deep into stuff like hidden object games or on a phone or computer going into the settings and seeing what all it can do.
I do not have much to write. Without Claire here it is really boring and I still have the little bit of food that was put here and what I brought in my bag. We are practically starving but that doesn't bother you as much when you have been ripped away from your family.
My dad used to find different maps of old buildings and ones that had secret passage ways and cool stuff like that. I still kept them even though I knew it was all made up, I guess when you are a kid you will believe everything.
I always said when I got older and had my own house I would want secret passage ways and a secret door that lead way down to a huge room, for safety or if there was a tornado or just to go down there to play.Ok, well I will admit this really does bring out the best of me. Happy thoughts, sad thoughts, and it does take your mind off things.
Goodbye for now.
