~Jessica~
I can't leave his side. I just can't. I want my baby to wake up. I want to hold him or him to hold me and tell me he is ok. I can't believe that nigga did him like this. But knowing my baby he will bounce back with a vengeance and I can't wait for it to happen.

Jessica had been sitting my Shawn's side for months now. She only left for a few hours when it was time for a bath. She missed him so much. She even stopped working but was still making money thanks to Shawn's right hand man Brian who had taken over the business while he was out. He came by every day to check on Shawn and bring Jessica something to eat for the day. He really has been there for her these past few months. Jessica has lost a lot of weight and has not been keeping herself up like she used to. The only thing she has been wearing lately is sweatpants and Shawn's shirts or a joggin suit.

Shawn's family has been coming by every week too. They love Jessica to death. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters but Shawn is the oldest. He makes sure all of them are taken care of no matter what. His brothers names are Leo and Ray and his sisters are Lisa and Brashelle. His brothers aren't in the game though. Shawn wasn't having any of that. All of them are safely away in a whole different city. They all have the same father but sometime after Brashelle was born, their father was killed. He was robbed outside of his job one night. They never found the guy who did it. Shawn's mother Laurel had to work 2 jobs to support their family and when Shawn became a teenager, he joined the game to help his mother out with the bills. His sisters looked just like his mom, thick in all the right places, with flawless skin. They always had the best in life because Shawn and his brothers made sure of it. Everybody has their own job now that everyone is grown but if one is going through the struggle, the rest of the family helps the out. His sisters are married to the best lawyers in town, while his brothers still got there player cards.

"Hey Jessica baby," said Laurel, Shawn's mom.

"Hey miss Momma Laurel."

"How you been baby?"

"I've been good and yourself?"

"You know me, I'm holding in there, still worried sick about my boy."

"I know what you mean."

"Did they ever get the guy that did this to him?"

"Unforntunately the didn't yet. But Brian is out looking for him."

"Good. Well stand up and give me a hug. I could really use it right now."

"Oh yes ma'am. I could too."

As Jessica stood up, she looked pale, sad, hurt and her eyes were blood shot red. She cried everyday for her man. It was really hard trying to be without him. His mom on the other hand has been working herself to death trying to keep her mind off of her baby being in he hospital. Its not one day that doesn't go by that she doesn't pray for her son. She had on some scrubs since she worked in a nursing home.

"Girl, you look a hot reck without my son. What if he were to wake up and see how you looking; you would probably scare him to death," Laurel said laughing.

Jessica laughed too and said, " you right Momma. Maybe I do need to go clean myself up a little bit. Maybe its time I started back working and getting myself back together for him. There is no doubt in my mind that he won't wake up looking for me."

"Alright then now come on here."

"Where we going Momma?"

"Child we going to get your hair and nails done and then we going shopping."

"Momma I dont need all that."

"Child yes you do now come on here."

"Yes ma'am."

"You think Lisa and Brashelle would like to join us?"

"Girl yes let me call them."

"Hey momma", the girls said in unison.Thankfully they were already together trying to find something to do today.

"Hey I went by the hospital to grab Jessica and we bout to have a girls day out. Yall wanna come?"

The girls agreed and they all met up for some lunch. Momma Laurel had to make Jessica eat because she didnt have much of an appetite. They also went to Shela's Hair and Nail Salon, the spa for a nice massage since both of them were so stressed and tense. Then out to a movie and shopped all around town. Everybody was so tired that all they could do was go back to Momma Laurel's house for some rest.

To be honest, Jessica really did need all of that. Lately she had been feeling very lonely and down.
