Fought

I fought for my life,

I escaped my doom,

The scars and the pain

are what hide me in my room.

So don't think I'm odd

 For wanting privacy,

It's normal, the only way

 To escape what haunts me.

You just want to help?

Well, he said that too,

And then he gave me scars,

Turned my face sickly blue.

I kept holding on,

My siblings needed me,

But now the threat's gone,

so I ignore their plea.

I stay where i'm safe,

where no one else is allowed,

I stay where my head

is stuck in the clouds.

I fought to the finish,

and the finish has come.

so don't bother me, go away,

my fighting's been done.
