"Any ideas for song choices for sectionals?" Mr. Schue asked, looking around the room, as most of us just gave him vacant stares.

"How about a Bette Midler piece? That would complement my voice perfectly" Rachel started saying, as we all, once again, rolled our eyes.

"Rachel, no. Kaleigh is going to be singing, and we need good songs, not dreary old ones" Kurt said, winking at me. I smiled lightly, and everyone actually seemed to agree with Kurt.

"We need some songs that have a lot of energy definitely for the group, or maybe something with a lot of emotion for the solo" Tina suggested, and we nodded our heads.

"I like Rihanna for Kaleigh to sing because I think she can pull her off really well" Santana said, smiling down to me and giving me a little wink. I smiled back, but then turned my direction to mr. Schue.

"You know what? That sounds great! Powerful, emotional stars are what we're going to need for Sectionals. Kaleigh has a lot of soul, and it will be good to showcase that talent" Mr. Schue agreed, as everyone nodded, well except Rachel who was still pouting she wasn't getting the spotlight.

"Excited?" Sam asked, as we walked back to my locker after Glee practice.

I nodded my head.

"Yea I'm really pumped, but I'm so nervous. I've never..." I said, trying to find the right words.

"never had anyone trully believe in your talent besides your parents? I felt that too. The guys pushed me so hard to audition, and I didn't realize how great Glee club was until I joined. It's an unwavering support system. When everything else seems to go wrong, they're there for you" Sam said, and I looked at him smiling, trying not to cry

"that's exactly what I wanted to say" I replied, as I looked straight into his eyes for a few moments, locking my eyes with those crystal blue ones of his.  He smiled his gorgeous lips, his teeth shining brightly. I smiled back, and quickly put my books in my locker, a little giddy.

"Hey, are you going to the game tonight?" Sam asked, walking me to my car.

I nodded, and went into my front seat, and rolled down the window to still talk to Sam.

"Of course, I'll be the loudest one there" I said, smiling. He smiled his dazzling grin back.

"good, see you there" Sam said, and I pulled out and drove home.

"Someone looks gorgeous, as per usual" Santana said, as she hugged me tightly when we got to the game. I smiled.

"Thanks girl, so do you!" I replied, as the game soon started.

Thid Person POV

Everyone could see the energy radiating off of her, as she cheered loudly. Her pleated short Cheerios skirt as she hit every move perfectly from the cheering routine, her 1000 watt smile which lit up the field, and her enthusiasm which could be felt even by the other opposing team.

And everyone could see, well except for her of course, the players on the football team gawking at her when they could, especially Sam, Puck... and Finn! Shocker, right because he's with Rachel, but really - he wants Kaleigh too. Everyday he wished Rachel would be more humble and honest like Kaleigh, who would rather have everyone be in the spotlight than just herself.

Everyday, especially now that Kaleigh and James were finally done, Finn and Rachel got into numerous fights, mostly Finn getting pissed at Rachel's unbelievably selfish actions.

"You guys did great out there!" Kaleigh said, as the guys finished the game, winning a good 31-17. She ran over to the guys, giving them each a hug. Puck even had the balls to pick her up and spin her around. Giggling, she walked with them, as all the people walked back to their cars.

When Kaleigh got home, she went on Facebook, looking through the pictures people had taken of that night, smiling at most of them. There were a ton of cute ones with Santana, Brittany, and Quinn, and there were a lot of action shots as well.

She soon became distracted, and began looking into her friends' pictures from Australia, seeing pictures of her best friend with a large baby bump, and her ex still partying and being 'King" of the school. Kaleigh sighed and shut off her computer, too fed up with the haunting memories of their old relationship. The scars of his angry rampages still marked her body, but they were fading.

Puck, at his own house, had finished haivng dinner with his family, and went to his bedroom to relax. As he lay on his bed, he couldn't stop thinking about Kaleigh. That's all that was on his mind lately. Ever since she came to McKinley, Puck's been almost in love with her. Now that she finally left James, he finally had a chance with her, if Sam and Finn didn't come into the picture. He knew they both liked her as well, and it was damn well annoying that they would try and steal her from him. He sighed, and went to sleep, ready to take on the next day
