It's been a month since my first day at McKinley, and I must say, I'm actually starting to like it here. I've become incredibly good friends with everyone in Glee, except for Rachel who seems to want me to leave Glee. Supposedly she's intimidated by my talent, but honestly I'm not competing with her. I don't want to become a singer or actress - I want to be a doctor. But whatever, she can hate me for all she wants.
Besides Glee, I have joined the volleyball varsity team here, as well as the Cheerios instead of soccer, as Coach Sylvester basically forced me to join. I became a flyer, and had to wear the uniform almost all the time. Santana, Brittany Quinn and I were becoming quite close actually, and they were all pretty nice. Santana had her times, but she seemed to like me actually. I wasn't one of her followers, like Brittany, but I was friends with her.
I liked it here at McKinley.
I parked in my usual spot, next to Puck's pool service van.
I rolled my eyes at it. He still kept flirting with me, keeping up that 'bad boy' attitude that was actually incredibly attractive. Too bad I'm a flirt as well....oops! I could tell he really liked me, and every chance he could, he asked me out. I just usually rolled my eyes and retorted something back. Everyone felt the sexual tension between us. All of the girls questionned me about our 'relationship' and I usually just laughed, stating there was none.
"Morning babe" Puck said, as I got out of my car and he was just getting his stuff out of his. I rolled my eyes, smoothing out the Cheerios outfit I was wearing, as it had gotten a bit crumpled while sitting in the car.
"Morning Puck" I replied, as he waited for me as I got my backpack out of the car.
"How was your night? Dreaming about me?" He flirted.
"oh, of course you should know that's all I dream about, bye Puck" I said, winking at him as I went to class.
"Morning Kaleigh" Sam said to me as I sat down next to him in class. I smiled at him. Sam was actually really cute and adorable. He's extremely kind and has become one of my closest friends here
"Morning Sammy, how was your night?" I asked.
"After you stop texting? Good I guess. How was the rest of your night?" He asked and I laughed. We had been texting that night until about when 8 when my parents wanted to have some dinner.
"Well, we had family dinner, which was nice. Then this morning, I saw Puck again" I said, and Sam laughed.
"Haha, sorry Kaleigh, but can't really help you there. " Sam asked, and I rolled my eyes.
"Wish you could" I said, teasingly.
Then class began.
Finally, it was lunch. I was actually starving.
"Hey girl, so game tonight at 6:30 here. Remember to bring anyone you can for support" the captain, Meghan, said as she passed me. I nodded, smiling at her, and went to sit with my Gleeks.
"Hey, please please please come to the game tonight! It's 630, so you can get dinner after Glee and then go?" I said, and the group nodded.
"Of course babe, since I love the way your ass looks in those spandex shorts" Puck said winking as I sat down next to him and Sam. I rolled my eyes, and ate lunch.
"Hey, so what are we doing in Glee do you think?" Artie asked.
"I hope some old musicals, like Phantom. That would be just wonderful to showcase off my voice" Rachel said, and I looked to Santana who rolled her eyes.
"sorry Rachel, but I think we should do some current songs and you not singing because my ears are a little sick of your scratchy whiny voice and I'd much rather hear Celeste sing since she's not a brat like you, and has much better talent" Santana said, as Rachel got a rather flustered look on her face.
