When I got home from school that day I decided that I would test the key and the book together again to see if it would sparkle like when I found them. The key is silver with a blue rose and diamond attached to it. When the book began to glow and sparkle I didn't realize that my dog was in the room until he began to bark really loudly. I thought that it meant that something was wrong with the book. When I messed around with the mirror to see if it would do anything I made sure the dog wasn't in the room, so that he wouldn't bark if anything happened. The mirror that came out of the rock is gold and silver and had leaf engravings on it.
Over the weekend Lily, Dylan, Kaz, and I decided to hang out at my house. We really wanted to open the book, but we had been stressing about it all week, so we decided to just have fun. We swam and hung out until dinner time, while my mom and grandma sat and talked and my grandpa made dinner. They all stayed for dinner and we decided on a sleepover. That night we decided we would open the book.
