The Unbroken Heart

Chapter 4:

He walked in next to me and we got to sit where we wanted for homeroom cause we have had this teacher for two years straight, for 9th and 10th. He sat behind me for today and it was those desks where the chairs are attached. I put my books down and went through them. My mom is the school person so she loves to do our school stuff, putting everything together. I checked and saw she had everything. Then I remembered something. I forgot to text her. I have practice after school and Im finally on the varsity team. Ill just text her later. In fact, let me do that now. 

"Can you bring my sports bag, thanks?"

Then, I put my phone in my World History Binder and I sat and talked with Jo. Man he is perfect. I bet I wont be alone now. Last year we had no classes together now we have almost all. Awesome. Then the bell rings and we head off to class. 

"Let me help you with that." he said kindly grabbing my binders from me.

"You know we have been friends for years now, you dont have to prove your a gentalmen. I already know you are."

Then he did something so unexpected. He kissed my cheek in front of all these people and ran off with my books. I chased after him blushing and we were there in front of the room and he gave my books back and walked behind me. I was feeling protected for some reason. Maybe he actually did have feelings for me.
