Chapter 9: 

I dont remember if he was in my classes in the afternoon. I left a seat just in case. Then he came in. I looked over and he looked like he was beat up more. His eye was black and blue and looked worse than Jake did. I bet it was Jakes friends. He took a seat next to me and whispered,

"Im sorry Im late baby. I was having a issue. I was forced to do something. See my eye."

"Yes, I understand."

"May I?" He asked as he held out his hand.

"You may." I say as I hold his hand. 

He linked our fingers together and we sat listening. She came and handed us a review sheet. Her name was Mrs. Giancarlo. Im going to call her Mrs. G. 

"Mrs. G? What did you say?"

"I asked what your names were. Jo and?"

"Oh, Im Jessie."

"Jessie...."

"Jessie Days."

"Is Jessie your real first name?"

"No..." I looked down. All people new me as was Jessie. 

"Oh alright. Thanks. Here is your review sheet and all those papers that are involved."

I think I like her. She reminds me of me. She walked away and he held my hand again. He really did like me. It was only the first day.

"Mom Im home" I come inside taking off my shoes. I walk into the kichen where she was.

"Hey hun. How was school?"

I jumped on the counter in front of her. Im about to fangirl

"I was pretty emotional today.. but other than that it was amzing. Mom..mom gues what?"

"Yes?" She said chuckling.

"Jo asked me out tonight. He asked me to be his girlfriend. We have liked each other awhile and he finally asked me out."

"Im guessing you said yes. Good girl. We got to get you dressed up for tonight though. Make him fall for you."

"Heck yeah I said yes. Mom can we not overdue it. We are just going to dinner and a movie maybe the park. I dont know. Im bringing clothes to change into though."

"Fine. Your wearing a dress though.Thats for sure."

"Can I go do homework? Here is papers you need to sign."

"Okay go ahead. Let me know when your done."

"Okay mom."

I walked up to Jays room. I saw him and he was sleeping listening to music. He missed practice today. Mine was alright. Alot of warming up and stuff. I walked to my room and put my backpack down. I took out my folder and started on my homework. 

Im going to pick in you up in 2 hours is that okay? Like 7:30 sound good?

I replied, Yes works for me. See you in a bit. 

Okay babygirl. 

Dang. I called Moms name and she came running. 

"He will be here in 2 hours. I guess I should start getting ready."

My mom is busy going through my closet. She finally picked out a dress and it was a strapless, light blue dress and it had a small blue ribbion. It was kind of sparkly and it was beautiful. I found a pair of white shoes and light panty hose. I had a headband that was blue and a couple light blue braclet. I found a heart necklace and it had a blue chain. I hopped into the shower and washed my hair. He was on my mind. I couldnt stop thinking about the kiss. It was perfect. I hopped out of the shower and got dressed. My mom did my hair and makeup.

I heard the door bell and I went and brushed my teeth. I packed some mints and gum in my purse and my back up makeup in case it gets spreaded or messes up.

My mom answered and I guess they talked. I didnt hear anything, and I was almost done. I heard a knock at my door and I let out a small scream and his mouth dropped. He was wearing a button up shirt and black dress pants. He looked great. 

"Look at you my girl. You look beautiful. Everything."

"You look great youself. Very handsome."

"Haha come here baby."

I came up and hugged him. It was a tight hug and it felt great. He stopped hugging me and said, 

"Shall we go my lovly lady?"

"Yes, lets go my handsome gentalmen."

We walked down to the car. He took my hand and we walked into his car. He is such a gentelman and its too cute. There we were off on our way.... to god knows where.
