Merry Christmas loves (I deadass forgot to publish this IM SORRY. Also this is a two parter kinda thing)

Day: 20

The last four days have been something I've always wanted to experience, a relationship. Making out, feeding each other grapes, making comments about each other's butts as we walk by each other.

Ah, relationships, they're great.

Although, we are still working..

"What's on the schedule today?" Dean asks as he sits down next to me putting his arm over my shoulder.

"I don't know" Seth huffs. "Check the book, that's what it's for."

Dean and I exchange confused looks before looking down at the book Dean and Seth had put together for all 45 days of camp. And boy, today is gonna be great.

"This IS GREAT!" I shout. "I'm gonna announce this to the kids now while they're eating so they can start coming up with ideas!" I say as push Dean off me and jump out of my seat.

"Well somebody's excited" Dean chuckles.

"BOYS, GIRLS, CHILDREN!" I shout running into the dinning hall. "Stop eating your breakfast for a second and please direct your attention to me!" I shout into the megaphone I picked up while rushing into the room.

"HURRY UP, MY PANCAKES ARE GETTING COLD" Tyler shouts.

"Oh Tyler, you're not gonna care about your pancakes after hearing this!" I smile at the boy. "Today's activity is... A TALENT SHOW!" I announce with joy.

"FRICK YEAH" Tyler and Josh stand up and double high-five.

"Today you may spend all day around camp practicing your acts for TONIGHT! The sign up sheet will be posted on the front door. It's open for all of you, no auditions, just for fun!"

"Hold up!" Kevin shouts. "Will this be like a contest?"

"NO" the kitchen staff shouts from the back of the cafeteria.

Their reaction is understandable. The last time we had a contest, the lead cook was knocked out and that lead to a huge food positioning problem thanks to Seth and Dean.

"Well, no kev, it's not a contest. All for fun!"

He frowns. "Hm. I was gonna make up for last time."

"God please no!" The lead cook shouts.

"OH CALM DOWN" Kevin snaps. "IT WAS BREAD. NOT A DAMN ROCK!"

Today should be fun.

-

I walk around camp watching all the kids practice their acts, so much talent, so much hard work. It should be a good show.

"Alright Alex, I got a question about the staging" Marlo says as him and Kevin walk up to me.

Them, along with some other kids who couldn't come up with acts so they volunteered to be stage crew.

Marlo had a clipboard and a pen behind his ear. He even had a whistle and his own little megaphone strapped on to his belt.

"What about it?" I ask.

"Oh," he looks up at me from his clipboard "I don't have a question" Marlo laughs. "I just always wanted to say that. Sounds kinda professional, right?."

"Hm, well I'm glad you feel professional. Maybe this is your true calling in life" I nudge him.

"Actually" Kevin speaks up while pushing up his glasses.

"Marlo's dad, my uncle, he's a professional set builder. And so was his grandfather."

"Oh" I say shocked. "Well damn Marlo!"

"HEY" Someone shouts right into my ear from out of nowhere.

"JeSUS" I shout as I whip my hand back knocking it into whatever stood behind me. "WHAT THE HELL" I pant as I spin around only to find Seth laying on the floor with a bloody nose.

"NOT AGAIN" Seth cries.

"Yikes" I say as I bite my lip.

"WHAT IF I WAS A CHILD, WHY IS YOUR FIRST REACTION TO ATTACK?" Seth says in a nasally voice as he pinches his nose to help stop the bleeding.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking!" I kneel down to Seth and open my fanny pack to pulling out some tissues for him.

Dean was right, this really is useful.

"Hey, what happened here?" Dean asks as he casually walks up to us eating an apple.

"I accidentally punched Seth in the nose."

"Yeah, accidentally" Seth rolls his eyes.

Dean chuckles. "Again?"

"Again" I frown. "I don't want to hurt you, you're just always shouting in my ear" I say turning back to Seth. "Stop that."

"Oh so now this is my fault!" He shouts.

"No I'm-"

"SH" Seth says getting all up in my face.

"Watch yourself Alex, watch yourself.." he says while walking away.

"Is he always this over dramatic?" Marlo asks.

"Yes" Dean and I say at the same time.

-

I sit on the couch admiring the side of Dean's face.

He hasn't bothered shaving leaving just a bit of scruff growing on his face. I have a love hate relationship with the scruff, which makes me sad because before we got together, his scruff was one of my favourite things. But now it leaves little red marks on my face after he kisses me. But I still love it, and the red marks, and how it tickles and it makes me giggle.

"Why are you staring at me?" Dean says as he locks his phone and puts it aside.

"I'm admiring your face" I admit. "You see, before we got together it was just weird for me to look at you, but not, you would expect nothing less."

He nods. "You're right" he says as he turns his body towards me staring me right in the eyes. "I'll admire you too" he says as he stares at me with one eyebrow raised and his eyes shooting holes into mine.

I scoot closer o him. "That's not admiring, you just look like the rock sweaty" I smile at him. "When you admire someone, you look at every inch and detail about them, inside, and out" I say as my finger tips run up and down his arms. "You appreciate them and things you don't usually pay attention to. You look at them with pleasure, happiness" I say moving closer to his body leaving his mouth slightly open.

"WE, NEED to talk" Seth says while barging into the cabin.

I frown.

"Can it wait" Dean asks without breaking eye contact with me biting his lower lip.

"No" Seth says firmly. "It definitely can NOT."

And the next thing I know, I'm alone.
