She charged at me... she almost looked like she had flames flowing from her finger tips. I imagined Oliver fighting next to me. I pulled my blade from the sheath that I had brought along with me.

I ran toward Safire... along the way I paused. My blade turned blue and began to glow bright. I took a swing as Safire ran past in an attempt to take me out. She disappeared and quickly before anything else had the chance to come after me I got to Angel.

When I freed her from the chains everything went black then I woke up to Oliver standing over me with a worried look.

"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Is Angel okay?"

We looked over toward the couch as she started to wake up. When she sat up I lunged forward and hugged her.

She made a sound as if I had knocked the wind out of her. Soon after she put her arms around me and held me tight.

"How did it feel to be dead for three days?" I asked jokingly

She looked at me with a blank expression that told me to stop talking because she didn't want to listen to the taunting. I backed away so that max and her could soak in that she wasn't dead.

When she looked up at max she had a confused look on her face like she didn't know who he was. "Hi I'm Angel... Who are you?"

He looked like he might cry. Oliver and I just looked back and forth at each other.

"Its me max... Your boyfriend???" He looked at me and Oliver like we could magically bring her memory back.

Suddenly she busted up laughing. "I'm just kidding with you guys... You should have seen your faces!!!" She doubled over laughing and fell on the floor.

Max looked at oliver and I as we started to laugh too. "Not funny you guys... When your girlfriend comes back from the dead and acts all crazy and you have to have some lady help you in to her mind to set her free and then she pretends to lose her memory of her boyfriend. Just ugh not cool."

He walked around the couch and plopped down.  Angel collected her self up off the floor and sat next to him.  "I'm sorry." I her her say to him lightly.

Oliver was standing two steps behind me.   Unexpectedly he came up behind me and hugged me.  He whispered lightly in my ear. "I love you."

I moved my head so I was looking in his eyes and before I could say it to him he knew by my look I loved him as much as he does me.

"Ew get a room." I herd max say from the couch.

"What about you too snuggle bugs on the couch."

Angel rolled her eyes and stood up, "Lydia let's go do a perimeter check make sure everything is okay."

I freed myself from Olivers grasp and walked toward the door. "Wait Lydia don't forget your bow and your sword."

I turned and grabbed them from the chair.  Then I walked back toward the door as we made our way out I closed it.

...........

Oliver

I stood in the same place that Lydia had left me until I knew for a fact that they were gone.  I rushed over to the couch.  "Hey man I have a question."

"Yeah sure Oliver... Whats up."  I paused for a bit just to be sure that they weren't coming back to the house yet.

"So I'm gonna purpose lydia-." Before I could finish what I was saying he interrupted me.

"Oh my god man that's awesome." I nodded and I felt a light blush surface on my cheek.

"Will you be my best man?" His eyes brightened like the sun.

"Yeh- yes." I smiled and he smiled right back.

"Oh and I haven't purposed yet so don't say anything to anyone... Please not even angel."

He nodded and the conversation ended in time for the girls to walk back in the cabin.  I stood up and walked over to Lydia and kissed her on the head.

"Anything?"

"Nothing weird." She smiled and walked toward the stairs. "I'm gonna go and take a nap.  Wake me up if anything comes up."

***
Lydia

I slept for almost two hours. When I got up everyone was out back drinking beer and sitting around a fire.  When I walked out back Oliver was a little tipsy and when he saw me he stood up and yelled my name.

"Lydia!! Come join us." He was falling over peoples feet as he approached me.

"Um I'm hungry I think I'm going to find something to eat." I don't want to be mean I hate hanging out with people that drink and get super drunk.

"Well your loss." He stumbled back to his lawn chair.

I didn't actually make any food.  I just sat at the table and drank a coke.  I just stared at the clock watching time pass.

Angel walked in the back door but I ignored it, mainly because I was lost in thought.  When she touched me on the shoulder and I jumped which she noticed.

"Woah... Its just me." She sat down next to me.  "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine I just don't like hanging out when people drink." I looked up from my hands at her face. "What's the reason for the celebration?"

"I honestly don't know.  Oliver went to town and when he came back he had some beer." She looked past me to the people out back. "He wouldn't tell me what he was celebrating but he said I would know about it tomorrow."

I slowly moved my head up and down.  And showed a reserved smile.  "Well its getting late I think I am gonna got to bed."

"Why don't you just come sit and hang out with oliver.  Maybe he will tell you what he is celebrating.  But don't ask." I gave in and followed her out back to where she was sitting.

Oliver moved over to where I was sitting and he put his arm around me.  He smelled strongly like beer and it was over whelming but I bucked up and stayed where I was.

"How was your nap." When oliver spoke his words sounded drug out.

"It was nice." I stood up after I spoke and I walked out toward the beach.  No one followed me thank god.  I wanted to be alone.  That's another reason I didn't join in on there hanging out.

Suddenly I her something rustle in the bushes in the distance.  I stood holding my ground just in case.  Then I saw glowing eyes in the distance. I turned and began to run toward the house.

"OLIVER!!!! ANGEL!!!! MAX!!!" Everyone on the deck turned around and was watching me run and I could tell they were confused.

I found Olivers face and when I did he was stumbling through everyone to grab my bow that was sitting on the table.  Suddenly I was on the ground and a dark creature was standing over me.  I must have hit my head because everything went dark.
