Part 1: the beginning

"Eight...nine...ten! Ready or not, here I come!" Flarea cried, searching around the den for her Seawing sister. Flarea was a Flamewing, one of the most powerful tribes in all of Aron, or so she was told. Her claws tapped on the wood plank floors as she searched the tree house hut in the jungle outside the Kingdom of Flame in the sky. She rounded a corner and saw that the closet doors were suspiciously closed. Flarea creeped forward like a panther ready to pounce. When her snout bumped the door, she heard a small movement in the dark area.

"Drooooooopleeeeeeeeet! I can hear yooooooou!" slurred Flarea quietly and playfully, trying to sound creepy and send chills down Droplet's spine. It always worked for Flarea, well mostly.

Droplet could hear Flarea's voice, seeping through the closet doors. She tried not to giggle, but that was impossible.

"Hehehe", she whistled through the doors.

"AHA!" cried Flarea, opening the doors with a bang.

"My turn!", Droplet yelped.

"You won't beat me!" Flarea said playfully. Then all of a sudden, Storm roared in the other room.

"STOP BANGING THE DOORS! FLAREA! DROPLET! GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" Roared Storm angrily.

"I'm hiding! Quick!" Flarea cried, dashing towards their room.

"Fivvvvvve, Fourrrrr, -One! Ready or not, here I come!" Droplet sang. Flarea ran off and hid in their room just as Storm began to thump down the hallway towards Droplet, and not in the best mood ever.

Droplet flew out the room to seek her sister, knocking right into Storm.

"Droplet!" Storm shouted in rage.

"Ya-a", Droplet whimpered. Flarea slowed her steps coming over to where Storm and Droplet were.

Storm couldn't hold in her anger, "YOU TWO NEED TO CALM DOWN, and be QUIET for once!"

When Storm was done raging at the dragonets for half an hour, she turned around and stormed off, probably to report their "bad behaviors".

"Come on Droplet, let's go outside for a bit." Flarea said softly, putting a wing around her little sister and leading towards the door.

"Ok," Droplet sniffled, keeping her tear drop blue head down in dismay. They walked towards the door, thinking about how they hated being yelled at.

"Droplet? Where were you going? I thought you were following me into our room." Flarea said, looking at her sister in confusion and concern.

"I'm going somewhere where I can have fun without getting yelled at", Droplet said in a sorrowful tone.

"Well, next time I'll remember to tell you that I want you to hide with me so we can sneak out and hide in the tree! Like ninjas!" Flarea said, trying to cheer up Droplet. Droplet smiled up at her big sister, Flarea turned a rose pink. She loved it when her sister smiled.

"Where are you, little brats!" roared Storm. Droplet and Flarea quickened their pace.

"Come on! Let's get to the window. I'm tired of being hidden up here in this hideout. I want to go past the border line!" Flarea said. Flarea knew that they were surrounded by a specially built enclosure that surrounded the tree. Only adult dragons had the key to unlocking the animus touched, stone doors. It was made by a Novawing animus that worked with the Peace Bringers group. The same group that held the dragonets captive in a small area. At least they weren't stuck under a mountain with no wing room.

"Fly! Fly! I don't want to have my wings 'clipped' forever!", Droplet zipped around trying to push through the aminus doors.

"Shh! Droplet, keep it down!", Flarea hissed frantically, "You'll get us caught! I can already hear the next hour long lecture!" Flarea didn't mean to sound mean, she was just making sure that her sister was safe from the harsher guardians. Who knew what they might do! They already seem to be happy to set them on fire during battle training instead of making sure they were undamaged.
