I woke up to my phone ringing. I sat up and answered.
"Hello?" I said yawning.
"Hi. It's your agent. Anyway, there's a role that I think you might be interested in. They're making a sequel to The Mighty Ducks, and I set up an audition for you." He told me.
I gasped. "No way. When is it?" I asked.
"In a week. You could be playing Nirvana Foster. I'll give you the script tomorrow." He answered then hung up. I screamed with anticipation.
Hallie crawled in and held up her arms waiting for me to pick her up.
I lifted her up and took her downstairs. Macy was at work so I fed her and took her to the set.
Mike walked up. Hallie practically jumped into his arms. I laughed at the slightly scrawny latino. Hallie laughed as he took his LA Dodgers hat off and put it on her.
"Hey guess what? I'm auditioning for the new Mighty Ducks movie!" I exclaimed.
"Really? Me too. Luis Mendoza. The producers asked me to."
"Nirvana Foster. I get the script today."
"Cool. You should change into your sixties clothes." He told me. I rolled my eyes and changed while he played with Hallie.
I walked out in shorts and orange vertical striped crop top.
We started filming, but my heart wasn't in it. I needed to dedicate my time to learning lines.
"Hey! I can't do the movie." I told Evans.
"Why not?"
"I need to audition for a role. And it's important. Just write me out okay?" I said feeling like total shit for quiting.
"I understand. We'll miss ya."
I said my goodbyes and took Hallie home.
When I got home the script was on the front porch I reviewed lines for Nirvana.
