"The Dragon's what?!" I exclaimed. My mom gasped and covered her mouth. "That would explain why the bite did not kill her. But if she has the Dragon's Touch, and she obtained it from the DragonQueen Isis's bite...does that mean...?" Nurse Alees trailed off. Nurse Hana glanced at Doctor DiAngelo and then looked at me.

"The Dragon's Touch is a very special, unique, and rare gift. The Dragon's Touch can only be bestowed upon a person by a DragonKing or a DragonQueen," Nurse Hana explained. "Well...what...can I do something with it?" I asked. Nurse Hana smiled and flipped over my left hand, revealing my glowing palm. "Outsider dragons will recognize you, just as if you had been paired with a dragon. The other abilities are unknown. Only a DragonQueen or DragonKing knows all the abilities," she explained.

I peered down at my left palm and gasped. My palm dimmed and revealed a symbol in the center of it. Four circles with the letter I in the center was imprinted upon my palm. The four circles were all connected to each other in a cross-like pattern with the letter I in the center. After I stared at my palm for a moment, I looked up and stared at Doctor DiAngelo. "So...am I...paired with DragonQueen Isis?" I stuttered. "Well," he glanced at my mother, "I-I'm not quite sure. You see, Faith...There hasn't been a single person to exist with Dragon's Touch...EVER." I stared at him. "So...I'm the first one with Dragon's touch?" I asked. Doctor DiAngelo nodded. "So...what happened?" I asked, gesturing to my left bicep.

"Faith, don't you remember? Two high-ranked village Warriors saw you climbing Mount Caindier. By the time they caught up to you, it looked like you were attempting an egg theft. But before you grabbed anything, the DragonQueen Isis awoke and bit you, causing you to pass out. Those two Warriors risked their lives for your stubbornness." Doctor DiAngelo spoke sharply. I sighed. "I wasn't trying to steal an egg. Honestly, contrary to popular belief, I'm not stupid," I retorted, irritated. Doctor DiAngelo looked at me, obviously confused. "If you weren't trying to steal an egg, Faith...then what were you doing on Mount Caindier?" he pressed. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Two weeks ago, on the third Saishu-bi of Kaishimoon, Xavier and I were hunting in the Myst Forest when we spotted three enemy Rangers approaching Mount Caindier. We stopped our hunting session and followed the group from a safe distance. When they were approaching the Queen, Xavier and I hid. We watched the three Rangers spilt up and surround Isis. One Ranger was at the front of Isis. He wore a dark blue robe...I think. Another Ranger was behind Isis. He wore a dark green robe...maybe. He was stealing jewels and gems as the blue robed Ranger distracted Isis in the front."

"The third Ranger wore a dark purple robe. He was the one attempting the egg theft. But when the purple robed Ranger attempted to steal a strange dark blue and aquamarine stone, Isis roared and stomped her two front paws, sending both the green Ranger and the purple Ranger flying through the air. Once they got to their feet, the purple and green Ranger both fled. They left their loot behind, however. The blue Ranger stopped his fight with Isis and then bowed. He fled after his strange display of respect. Xavier and I were rather unpleased that the Queen had been assaulted. So...we quickly made our way back to the village and ran to Xavier's house. After discussing what we had witnessed with his mother, Telsa Cain, she told us an ancient story about strange, mysterious, egg-shaped, hollow gems that had the magical power of protecting any dragon whose image had been carved into one of the gems." I explained.

My mother looked at me with awe. "DragonStars? Telsa Cain told you about the Ancient DragonStars?" she asked. I sat up slowly. "Well, not only did she tell us of the legend, but she also made a DragonStar for Isis. Telsa used a stone similar to the one the Green Rogue Ranger tried to take. Our plan was to swap the stones, hope Isis wouldn't notice, take the other stone, and go back to Telsa to have the mysterious stone examined." I finished my explanation and crossed my arms. "So...you weren't trying to steal an egg?" Doctor DiAngelo asked. I huffed out of frustration. "No. I am not that desperate to be paired with a dragon," I retorted.

"Doctor, is she well enough to go home?" my mother asked. "We'll give her a quick vital check, and then we'll release her to you," he replied.
