I was only fourteen. And she sent me to live on Earth! Might as well call her, Star Butterfly, the queen who went crazy! Sometimes I wonder about her.
When I was sent to Earth, My dad, Marco, thought it would be good to stay with another family, that is how Star and Marco met after all.
"Matt! There are monsters out here!"
My new roommate yelled. Another thing, Marco also thought it would be nice to live with someone who knew karate, he said it would come in handy.
"Oh! Cool, I'ma blast their monster butts!" I said, your spirits rising.
You and your roommate, Alec, beat them easily. That's always how its been. Beat the monsters celebrate, then they come back, repeat
But for some reason, it never got boring, always winning over these guys was so satisfying. Maybe it was because these guys gave Mom trouble when she was my age.
But that was before today, and something different happened. Alec and I got home from school, (by the way, I have never been so bored there) and the small army of monsters was there waiting for us. But this time they had a leader.
He looked like a human-lizard hybrid. But he didn't look menacing. Just, like he was there on a business trip. I probably got this impression because he was wearing a full suit and tie.
I pulled out my wand, and Alec takes a fighting stance.
"You guys just don't know when to quit" he said.
"Yeah! I mean, who is this add-on to your team, the lizard lawyer?" I say sarcastically.
"Get them" the Lizard-man said, in a monotone voice that didn't surprise me.
Alec and I, plowed down the monsters easily. Most were on the ground, moaning in agony, the rest had just given up. When surveying the battlefield that was our backyard, I noticed that the Lizard-man disappeared. I lean in closer to Alec.
"Hey, where'd that Lizard-lawyer go?"
Alec looked at me, and was about to respond, when a voice came from behind us, that made us both freeze.
"Right here" the Lizard said with snarl, (still the most emotion I've seen out of him.)
We jumped back, startled, I didn't know what to do.
I saw that Alec, was about to to a Karate kick right in Lizard's face, so I relaxed, knowing he probably had this under control.
I used that spell, that changes your wand's form, just to make it smaller, and put it in the zipper pocked of my pants. (my favorite way to keep it from getting lost).
But Lizard surprised us once again, he simply took his tail, and slaps Alec right out of the air.
"Open the portal" Lizard said, still monotone. The remaining monsters cut into another dimension, and as you watched them opening it, I felt someone grabbing me.
Before I even had time to transform your wand back to normal, Toffee grabbed you by your waist, (I was surprised by muscular he felt) and he dashed for the open rift. He jumped through it, still holding me, then it closed.
They had me captured.
