Ok so my parents (dad) got really excited because he learned something new (which is really rare) so here it is: contact is NOT a verb. I already knew this so I don't know why I'm writing this because you guys probably know this too but anyway. So you can't say, "I contacted so and so" you have to say: "I made contact with so and so".
