New kid

Lucy pov-

BEEP
BEEP

I slam my hand down on my stupid alarm and try to wake up. I get out of my comfy queen sized bed and take a quick shower, letting the hot water soothe me.

As I get dressed my best friend, levy, texts me.

Levy: are you coming today?

I skip a lot. Not like anyone would notice...

Lucy: yah

Levy: yay! :)

I roll my eyes at her childness. Its not like its something new. Every time I Go, lissana, one of the "popular" people tries to start something. Notice how I said TRY I have a sharp tounge and I don't care what other people think of me.

I wear black skinny jeans, plain blue T-shirt and my usual Greg hoodie. And I never really talk or smile so I always look like im unintested in everything. Which in reality I am. But that's just me.

I start my walk to school and meet levy on the way. "How are you?" Levy asked. Which is reasonable since I haven't really been at school in like 2 or 3 days and she hasn't seen me. I have good grades though since I get my work from teachers online half the time. "I've been oka-" but she cuts me off.

"Hurry we will be late!" Levy grabbed my arm and started pulling me. Once we got to the doors we went our separate ways. We don't have first or second hour together but we have every other hour with each other so we usually go straight to our class once we get inside the building. We actually weren't late at all we were actually kinda early. 38 more minutes till we have to be in first hour.

I go to my locker, grab my things and go to science to just sit there. The teacher was there but he didn't say or do anything. He said 'welcome back' but that was all. That's all it ever was.

After a while a few students came in the and pretty soon all of them. There seemed to be someone new but oh well. Its not the first time I have come back and there was a new student.

"Students, please take our your books and flip to page 326." Everyone groaned, even me. Science is one of my least favorite subjects and one of the hardest. None the less we all flip to that page and class begins.

"Hello are you new here too?" It was the end of class and everybody was getting there stuff together. I look up to see the new kid. Salmon hair huh? Interesting.

"No I'm not new, just don't come very often" he smiled and nodded. "Cool, I'm natsu what's your name?" As he talked to me I felt glares of female students coming from all directions. Is he already popular? He just came here! Oh well. "Lucy." He smiled again. He is wayyyyy to giddy. "See you around then?" He said as he gathered his things. "Mabey."

I closed my locker and headed out to my next hour, math. Math is okay but I would much rather go to English or just skip.......nah.

I keep walking but am suddenly stopped by a hand on my shoulder. I turn and see pinky smiling at me...again. "Hey Luce!"

"Luce?"

"Yah! Its your nickname!"

"Okay.."

Our "wonderful" conversation was suddenly interrupted by none other than lissana.

"Oh hey natsu!" He looked over at her. "Hey Lis!" She smiled than fake smiled at me. "What are you doing talking to her?" Her face twisted in disgust and I rolled my eyes. "Nothing lissana." Completely ignored me. She grabbed his arm. "You really shouldn't be hanging out with people like that." And to my surprise he rolled his eyes and pushed her off. "I think i'll take my chances." He grabbed my hand and started walking, dragging me along. "Uh excuse me?!" She stormed after us and grabbed my shoulder. "Nobody ditches me especially not for this loser!" I pushed her arm off and turned to her. " at least I'm not some whore." I turned away and started walking twoards my math class. "Yo wait up!" I turn and see natsu jog over to me. "That was something." I shrug. "Feel free to ignore me." He just stayed silent. "I wouldnt have stuck up for you if I wanted to ignore. You seem cool anyway." I looked at him and he was smiling. "Whatever. I'm never here anyway." He looked confused. "What? Why?". I just sighed. " I would rather stay home and do it online. I got to go."

~time skip to lunch~

"Hey Lucy!" Levy greeted me as we sat down at our usual table with juvia and erza. Its a small group but were content. "Have you seen the new kid yet?" Erza asked. She was kinda like the "vice president" of our school so she knew when something happened. I nodded and continued eating my pizza. We were aloud to leave and go to grab something for lunch but most of the time I ate the food here because I was lazy. She nodded back.

"You talk to him?" Levy piped in. I nodded again. "Really? When?"

"We have first hour together plus he kinda stuck up for me when lissana tried to get with him and dis on me." Erza and levy shared a creepy smile and then looked back at me. "You know....I think he likes you." Levy said and nuged erza. I rolled my eyes. "Someone who is considered a nerd in this school...catching the eye of one of the popular people...don't think so." Erza just shrugged and ate her burger and levy playfully hit me on my shoulder. "Your fine. You just have to stop wearing those hoodies." Erza jumped back in the conversation and nodded. "She's right you know. Your blonde hair, big eyes and your thin. If you didn't wear hoodies boys would be all over you." Levy nodded in agreement. "Juvia thinks so too!" She looked at all of us and smiled, finally paying attention and not drooling over gray. "Whatever. You guys just say that."
I said as I got up to throw away my thrash. But as I walked I couldn't help but notice a certain someone stareing...
