"Spring" Cleaning

So sorry about the picture XD

I wake up around 9 to my phone ringing. Its erza...

"Hello?" She started to scream and squeal into the phone REALLY loudly so I just put the phone down until she calmed down.

"Can you actually speak English now?"

"Haha yah sorry I just heard about your little date with natsu!" I roll my eyes.

"Levy right?"

"Yep!!" I sigh.

"I'm cleaning today so I'm just gonna go. Have your fantasies somewhere else."

After that I hung up and took a shower. Once I was out of the shower I got dressed into something comfy. Sweats, tank top, and socks. I turn on my music and start cleaning.

~mini time skip~

DING DONG!

I stop cleaning my kitchen and answer the door to find my older brother sting. "Hey Lucy!" He smiled and hugged me. I hug him back. "What are you doing here?" He shrugged. He never does have a reason...

"Can I not just come see my little sister?" I roll my eyes. "I'm cleaning but come in I guess." He walks in and looks around. He had only ever been to this house once and that was to help me move in. I used to live in a tiny apartment but now I'm living in this cozy little house all alone. "I like what you have done with the place." I moved in about a year ago so I had a lot of time to rearrange things. "Thanks."

We sat down and we talked for a while then he got a phone call. "Sorry gotta take this its yukino." I nod and he steps into the kitchen to talk to her. They have been married for about 2 or 3 years now and they seem happy. Yukino is nice and she clearly makes sting happy so its all good. He comes back and kisses my cheek. "I got to go and catch a train back home, see you again sometime soon?" I nod and show him out. "Say hi to yukino for me." I say before closing the door.

Wasn't expecting that but oh well. I got back to cleaning and finished about 1:30 and decided to go grab some food from a café nearby.

When I get to the café I order a sweet tea and a donut. Okay so not real food but it sounds delicious. As I sit and wait the little bell on the door chimes and someone walks in. From where I'm seated there is a wall facing the door so I don't know who came in. Not really like I care.

The lady finally calls me up to get my order and I take it to go. I eat my donut as I walk to the public library and finish my tea while I'm looking for a book.

I finally decide on a book called children of eden (I love joey graceffa, sorry :p) and leave. As I'm walking back I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to familiar salmon hair. "I thought it was you. Hey Lucy!" He smiled and so did I. "Hey natsu."

"So what cha doing?" He asked in a weird child-like voice. "Going home, just got back from the library." He nodded. "I'm actually going home my self."

"Cool. See you around then?" He nods and waves as he takes a left and I continue on home.

Once I'm home I let plue out into the backyard to play and run around. While I sit on a lounge chair and read.

when I finally set my book down and go inside I look to my phone completely blown up with messages. All from juvia and erza. I quickly call erza to see  what's going on.

She picks up on the second ring.

"Lucy?! I've been trying to get ahold of you for ages now!!!" She screams through the phone.

"Yah, sorry I was reading in the backyard. Something wrong?" Obviously there was something wrong but they like to exaggerate as well so you never know with these guys.

"Levy's in the hospital!" All time stops completely. Why was my best friend in the hospital?

"What happened?!" I yelled into the phone as I grab my keys, lock the door and start walking to the hospital.

"She was hit by a drunk driver, me juvia and gajeel are here now. Please hurry!" She hung up after that and I started running tworads the hospital.

When I arrive I call juvia for the hospital room and head straight to Levy's room. When I open the door I see erza hugging juvia and gajeel on the side of the bed, holding Levy's hand. As soon as I look at levy I burst into tears. She was super pale, her hair was a mess and she had scratches and bruise's all over her. Erza notices me entering and leaves juvia to sit on the couch and cry as she comes and comforts me, but I back away from her touch. "H-how could this h-happen?" I ask softly. Erza just gets tears in her eyes. "There was nothing we could do." I flick my eyes up at her from the floor. "You were there...when it happened?" She nodded as tears rolled down her face. "The driver was drunk and half asleep. She didn't even stop once she realized she had run levy over."

I sunk to my knees on the floor. Levy has been there for me for as long as I can remember. Longer than erza. Longer than juvia. What if she doesnt wake up? Would she really just...leave me?

Erza sinks to the floor with me and hugs me tighter than my own father would have hugged me. "Its alright, she will be okay." She started to rock slightly to calm me down. We both jumped when my phone suddenly went off. Erza was the one who answered.

"Hello?" Erza asked since I couldn't hear she put it on speaker.

"Yes, hello? Lucy?" It was natsu...

"This is erza. Lucy is busy." She answers.

"Were is she? Is she alright? I happened to look out my window and I saw her running down the street she looked upset." Erza took the phone off of speaker phone and talked to him and told him what had happened. She even told him what room we were in.

A few minutes later the door creaked open and natsu walked in. I wasn't on floor anymore but on the other side of levy, across from gajeel who had fallen asleep. "Lucy are you okay?" He asked me. I didn't answer. He came and gave me a hug but I didn't respond. I just sat there.

Eventually he left along with juvia. Erza dragged me to her car and took me home. Once I had gotten settled into bed I cried. I cried because I wanted levy to be okay. I cried because she wasn't. I cried myself to sleep. Hopping,  hopping that levy would wake up....so I wouldnt be...

Alone

This was sad to write, honestly. The feels T^T
