~Avril's POV~

"Av i don't think i can wait any longer! can we please open our gifts!" Alana groaned. Christmas had come and gone, and now it was boxing day. busiest day of the year. I was planning on going shopping today, but it's WAAAY to cold.

"I told you i wanna wait for the guys to come." i said. she groaned. i insisted on waiting for the guys to get to new york. although i regret it cause i wanna open my stuff, i still wanna wait. It would be more fun to open them together.

"But Beau isn't coming until tomorrow and the rest two days after!" she whined.

"Wouldn't you much rather open gifts with your boyfriend." i smiled. Alana and Harry are still dating. and i'm pretty happy for them. it's really hard for a long distance relationship to work, but they trust each other. i find it cute. Though i cant lie, i'm kinda jealous she has such a perfect relationship, meanwhile i'm here single because i only ever seem to date douchebags.

"Avril! did you hear anything i just said?" she asked.

"Huh... sorry. zoned out." i said.

"Thinking of Louis again?" She asked.

"No. i was just thinking about how i always end up dating a bitch. the best one i had, had died." i sighed laying back onto my bed. "i'm a jinx when comes to dating."

"Av you aren't a jinx. there's that perfect guy waiting for you somewhere." She said.

"I think mine got hit with a bus." i said. "you know that saying. 'you only get one chance of true love?"

"Yeah." she said.

"What if Marcus was my one chance? i mean. me and Derek didn't work out. me and Louis didn't work out. the only perfect relationship i had was with him and he died?" I asked. "i think it's best if i just call off dating."

"Av i think your being hard on yourself. Mr.Right is out there. he could be right in front of you and you won't even notice." She said like the person she was talking about was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh god if your talking about the twins then-"

"No!" she groaned cutting me off. "Beau! i'm talking about Beau" i looked at her strangely

"Beau? why Beau?" i asked

"Av have you never seen the way he looks at you. it's like he's a love struck teen. or the way he tries to make you smile. how he loves being around you so much." she said.

"So....?" i asked not really getting her point. she face palmed before sighing.

"Beau Brooks loves Avril Payne." she talked to me like i was a 5 year old.

"Ohhh." i said. "wait what!? Beau does NOT love me. we're best friends. almost like brother and sister."

"Well Beau sees you as more than that." she said. "c'mon Av, ever since i've known Beau and have seen you two together, he makes it pretty obvious. Anyone who has seen you two together would know he likes you. aliens from another GALAXY would know he likes you" she explained.
